tbh i am surprised there still are dedicated spvp players playing. I just pop in for the daily, use the warrior so i don’t ragequit before finishing the 3 games needed and alt f4.

I have to agree, all of them are skilled players, but it’s not like they’re the only ones. There are also a lot of players with a high amount of skill suppressed by the current meta. I also have to agree to Fraelinas whole post tho.

Personally i don’t like to play because of the state of the game (pvp) in general. What am i supposed to do if i main engineer (example) and don’t want to play a kittened decap-build which is literally the only things that’s viable atm?

Well yes, i could go and reroll to warrior, thief or whatever. But i actually don’t like to play any of these. Maybe some ppl are going to say: stick to your profession and play what you like to. That’s actually possible, BUT if i really want to play on the top…it’s not. And please don’t tell me i’m not skilled enough or anything. If you want to play on the top you have to run what’s best for your team. A Engineer isn’t. I also refuse any kind of argument which points towards multi-profession-player. Even tho it’s possible to play more than one profession on a high skill-level we shouldn’t be forced to.

The funniest thing is, A-Net is buffing every single spammy-braindead-noskill-passive-kittenbuild in this game which requires literally 0 skill at all. Sure, there is still a difference between good and bad players, but if a bad player can stomp a good player (who isn’t playing the most broken thing) even tho he’s playing the best he can….there is a serious problem.

There is a kitten amount of new players coming to pvp and looking good, even tho they’re bad as hell. It’s because all of those kitten builds and the incompetence of A-Net (hot)fixing these things.

We need our time to investigate blablabla. Are you for real? They promised all these things gazillion years ago, and we aren’t even getting decent balance patches on a frequent time base yet.

Devs still don’t care about pvp at all, they just want to make us think this way.

There was a growth around 40% in the pvp-community right? Did anyone ever ask why this happend? It’s because the made PvP to a Part of PvE. They mentioned the opportunity to get PvE stuff while playing PvP (including some weapons which are pretty expensive in PvE). So where did this growth come from? Right, it’s all the PvE guys trying to get this stuff in a cheaper way.

They don’t have to make sure there are more ppl playing PvP. They have to strengthen the Core-PvP-Players (a lot of them did quit already tho) and really make you feel rewarded for your time-investment and skilllevel.

Does anyone actually care about getting additional rankpoints besides some hotjoinheroes or PvE guys who are going for achievementpoints?

And what about all this PvE stuff (bags etc.) we’re getting nowadays? Wtf am i supposed to do with these things? Go and play PvE? Please….

Anet has wisely, IMO, decided to focus on bring in more PvEers to PvP which is the only way for spvp to grow at this stage. personally, the more top players that go the way of the dodo bird the better, I don’t know why, but I feel like it would be better.

We are not all quitting the game, but the effort to run as a team with tourney schedules etc is just not worth it for no reward. Some take a break and focus on studying, some will pug around, pve or find another team. The meta also became boring.

Maybe a balance+reward patch next year can motivate us I know devs are working on it with all their passion.

Well supposedly, Corbine is trying to keep its distance from NCSofts greed. NCSoft is just the publisher, not the developer. Also I’ve enjoyed NCSoft games in the past such as COH. Its not entirely NCSoft I have issues with… In this case, it’s ANet… ANet are the ones who make these awful balance decisions…

So much hate here. I feel like CM have a right to share their view, why not its an open forum. CM were one of the top teams in our SPVP scene and helped to keep the scene alive. More teams like CM pls!

If nothing else, the combat looks much clearer

It has way worse feedback on skill hits though, feels like swinging in air at least as melee.

And remember it will require A LOT more grinding than gw2 to stay competitive, sadly :’(

Your comment seems more like you want a change after playing the same game for 2000+ hours. It is not really a fair comparison because you don’t have an extended amount of time with WS, the comment you are making is no different from same kitten people have been making about new MMORPGs since 2006. read my sig, it is based on watching mmo players before and after release from games since 2006.

In any case, I have was/am in the wildstar better I wasn’t feeling it so I move on and the fact that you need PvP gear to have a chance also says a lot more. Been there with aion, done that and it isn’t fun.

Saying I should trust you isn’t going to make me trust you. Trust me, invest in blockbuster is going to make a comeback.

This game has no bugs at all and ele is viable.

I’m saying that wildstar at the moment has far more content than GW2 has. I’ve played this content and it exists. And that’s a fact.

Also: if you have played aion you will find gearing up extremely easy
