Good League Feedback
Let me guess you guys play full meta and you are rolling over most teams you are playing?
The problem is that GW2 has a lot of solo players and they also want to play. You can incentivise all you want but when you have people playing 1h a day they don’t have the time nor the will to come up with line up to just play the league.
The main problem at the moment for me is the meta. That meta is ridiculous, DH needs a nerf from day one, pretty much everyone says it and Anet is still not doing anything. And that is not to mention about reaper, auramancer and revenant (to a lesser extent)
On the league side, the pairing is terrible, you get farmed even in the first level of the league. The pairing was supposed to bring you to play against same level players but it has completely failed. A part for the occasional games, most of the time you either roll over other teams or get rolled over. That is just not what I call a good pairing system.
Just my POV.
You’re preaching to the choir. I’ve written many threads about bringing back solo que but guess what? It’s not going to happen.
It’s time to start taking a different approach as a solo que player:
- Don’t expect reasonable win rates as a solo que in a game that is now designed for team que. After all, the game is named: “Guild Wars”. Playing as a solo que is completely at your own risk.
- Don’t like being on TS3? Only play once or twice a week? Cool but you should still be finding a guild of other casual players who want to form teams for spvp. Get to it, start doing it, even if they don’t use TS3. The chemistry built will be worth the investment.
- Remember that you are responsible for your own level of participation within the community. Not joining a guild that can teach you and provide players to team up with, is your own choice.
well, the good thing is that I actually have incentive to play atm. that’s about it though.
I have no problem with premades… 1 of 8 matches is facing a FULL premade team (there are few teams) i don’t get why ppl whine about full premade when it happen 1 time every 10 games.
SOlution : find a friend and play together. u will face more duo-trioQers than full premades.

And the name is a joke, 2015, soon 2016, yet no GvG implemented.

Playerbase asked about in-game VOIP and/or Smite like voice commands.
Anet still doesn’t give a kitten what players want or what they don’t want, they still do as they please so we get fail after fail.
Also, if I would have to “find a guild to que with to enjoy game” I’d rather quit, as probably majority of soloQ playerbase.

Obviously its my choice, for sure nor you nor Anet can decide for me. However if players who want que solo are majority, Anet has adjust their vision to them, or GW2 PvP playerbase will be smaller and smaller.

Me neither but as a soloq’er my MMR is way lower. When you get higher and higher in MMR/division you’ll get way more premades which are also good.
All full premade against full soloq matchups I’ve been in since leagues, I’ve won because they boost the MMR when teamed up.
Bring back: ‘Gamer’ title + MAT’s!
Throw out: Hotjoin!
if they would care about what players want … they should make an in game survey and not listening to ppl on the forum … cause ppl here are not representative of the player community

You know nothing of how a business should work and sadly neither does A-net. Thats ok though they are allowed to ruin there business by telling a huge portion of there player base, solo players and people that can only occassionally group to go pound sand. There should be something for solo and group players. A-net is hurting themselves not having it. They will lose players over it eventually It’s 100% the truth. I predict in the next quarter or so they will announce something more robust for the solo player which of course will be like a year ayway to string people out for another year or so. You can book it.

The game’s pvp scene has much more direction and presence now with leagues:
- Strong line drawn between the purpose of Unranked/Ranked. There is now a much bolder line drawn between the world of new & casual test play and serious play.
- Gives solo que players more incentive to form teams. After much thought, I think this is the answer rather than bringing back solo que.
- Gives intermediate level teams realistic & achievable competitive goals.
- Visible pip icon system that helps distinguish the casual player from the avid.
It’s all in the right direction
I like it and so does everyone in our guild
We’ve had more fun with leagues than we’ve ever had beforeThe only lingering problems are match manipulation issues and overall meta balance. Mostly but not only concerning Warriors and Thieves losing their roles.
Ah, another post the boils down to the bold. SoloQ players should just form guild teams like we did…. You miss the point of the current system being polluted by mixing the two. It’s just about what players obviously have to do (form guild team, lead and practice meta) in order to advance though League play, it’s about the SoloQ players feeding free wins and overall being kitten in this system. It needs it’s own queue.

I can’t even describe how much your bullet points lack arguments or totally miss the point that the system is horrible.
First of all, a game should never be build around teams. You should be able, especially in an mmorpg, to go into the game and do your own stuff without being forced to find other players to play with. Being forced to do so will scare away many people and your game just remains with X (mostly low number) teams constantly fighting eachother cause there is no one left.
You should also never be put in a position where you are dragging down your team just because you want to play solo. Solo players fight solo players, team players fight teams. That’s how things should be, not a mix of that.
Not joining a guild, playing casually or not trying to improve your own skill surely is your own decision, but that means you should also be put in a game with people being the exact same. That’s the whole point of MMR, so you face people that are around your skill level, not people that are way above or way below that or in the worst cases: teams that are way above yours, which often is the case currently.
And just by knowing a soloq system isn’t coming back, praising a much worse system to be good isn’t gonna make the game any better for the rest of the people. It’s nice that someone actually can see the positive of the system, but at least use some proper arguments why you think it’s so nice.
Oh and P.S., you might wanna wiki that ‘’guild wars’’ thing you wrote. I can give you a tip: it’s not related to PvP.
