Hi all,

I’m looking for suggestions on a good profession for someone who will only be solo/duo queuing for arena PvP. I found a3 month old “solo queue tier list” that had Revenant and Engineer as top tier but I believe they got changes since then (I started playing about a month ago) so not sure how much it applies.

Thank you for any help I can get, I’m trying to “get good” so any additional tips are welcome too

Revenant, Ranger, Warrior (make some practice with the combo and you’re ok), Mesmer (but you need to be good) or Thief (also if you’re good to use it). The DH is good, but I see a lot of them die like fools because they think to be immortal still while not good to use it, then make some practice before go with it into the middle of the fight.
Engineer is good, but you need more practice to be good with it.

Basicly, don’t go necro or ele, all the other classes can be played well in Soloq

Play necro and when you play good with necro then change to any of the overtuned classes. after playing a bit on necro and experiencing the underdog and learning to survive at best without good teamfight defenses kite positioning etc. Grats you are killing people easy while eating a sandwich and rolling your face into your keybord with your new class.

learn to play a support and dps class so you and a buddy can adjust to your enemy/team comp.
