D/P thief vs hambow GS/LB warrior or GS/rifle warrior.
As a thief I really enjoyed playing against one of these warriors. The outcome is highly depended on the skill/timing/positioning. On the squishy thief side, every blackpowder, forward dodge roll, hearseeker, backstab, steal and axe swirl if timed right makes a big difference. Kudos to ANET. However needless to say the scale is a little skewed in favor of warrior in such matchup as they are more forgiving and more mobile to disengage. But still very good design, enjoyable gameplay. Probably the only thing keeps me playing.
Out of all 1v1 matchup, I would say sadly this is the only match that actually requires skills and timing. Why don’t anet take this as an example and design the rest of the game like it. And mostly importantly make results of such fight matter as much as possible?

tbh I can’t really think of any other match up have gameplay. It’s all pretty much press the buttons when they get available. Care to enlighten me?

I like fighting eles or thiefes (can be annoying) with my mes.
Its alot about well timed doges and bursts (and interupts).
