I thought about it. And I figured… What if.. the conditions our conditions add… ADDED conditions. So for every condition, it added two more conditions..

But wait. What if THOSE conditions added conditions as well. Then transfered your conditions to everyone who doesn’t have conditions (or has conditions) multiplied by the number of conditions they don’t have (or have).

Pro tip: Boons are actually conditions in their larval stage.

Love this.

I think one of the issues we face is the ease of condi application vs removal. Especially for some classes. Hopefully we will see some of the passive game play go away in the future. Remove the passive blocks, evades, and condi application and this game would improve greatly.

contagious between creatures of the same kind means everyone will get it. since guild wars 1 only have humans as playable characters.

Conditions in sPvP is the pure essence of cancer. It is really impossible fight vs them.

Core problem.

1) All class have conditions without special builds.¨
2) Conditions need only two stats (condition dmg and duration), power need three (power,precision,ferocity)
3) Ignore armor,protection.
4) When player with power build use defensive abilities (block,invis,evade,blink etc) so stop doing DMG, condition player make DMG all time.
5) Conditions DMG abilities have short CD vs condition clease with really long CD.

All is need is add condi def stat the same like phis def work for power dmg. Or add in condi dmg formula armor as reduce factor. We have
Damage done = (Weapon strength) * Power * (skill-specific coefficient) / (target’s Armor)
So
Condi dmg done = Condition damage / (specific coefficient)*(target’s Armor)

Specific coefficient must make condi dmg still playable but not so cancer like now.

Or we could burn down all conditions, bleed condi users out slowly weakening them, tormenting them until they are utterly confused blindly striking their allies.
We can shout “Poison their waters” chilling their spines bringing fear to their hearts, imobilezed their crippled hearts are vulnerable before our might and fury.

Yeah, major RPG got magic resistance, poison resistance, fire resistance…

To casually transpose that to Gw2, Resistance should not be a Boon but it should be an attribute.

This would help to “define” more the bunker role… but somewhat Anet don’t want to have bunker anymore.

And, this would be a costly upgrade for all game mode to make.

It’s ways easier to make possible “viable” support that could cleanses for all, like it was before July 2016 patch. (or even better, before june 2015 patch — shoutbow war, dd ele and bunker guard where played for those reasons)
