Grenades Bug, problem for 6 months?
you assume it’s a easy fix, doesn’t mean it’s the case.
It could be tied with another part of the code that requires quite a bit of time to fix without breaking anything further, we don’t know that.
The Code itself could be a huge mess of lines and lines and lines with no real way of making a clean, definite way into it, which cause delay and other problems. (I’m not judging your way of coding Anet, simply pointing out some things that I previously saw)

In fact, we only know the problem ingame itself, not what’s happening in The Code behind. Assuming that it’s an easy fix because the problem is as clear as the day is wrong.

Compared to the other bugs (stun bug which I cannot even comprehend how and tornado self rez which is obviously a bug regarding health and transformations, probably caused by changes to tonics) this is a much easier fix.
Somehow Grenades got the same treatment of Phoenix, which as programmers, I’d personally would start looking at Phoenix then any other skill that is a PBAoE piercing projectile that damages on piercing (which, there isn’t many) then start looking at the coding of grenades itself.
I really don’t want this to be a six month issue.
