Guardian Hammer could use some buffs
Mace 2 (Mighty Blow) could use a touch more range, to take it more in line with GS3 (Leap of Faith).
Would like to see AA hit 3 a little faster.
I’d trade some of the ridiculous range on mace 3 (Zealot’s Embrace) for it traveling fast enough to hit anything faster than a quadriplegic asura. 1200 range on that is…excessive especially considering the odds of hitting anything past about 800 are next to zero. Half the range for twice the speed?
Over all I’m pretty happy where it is on damage. A bit less than greatsword, but far more utility and defense.
I’d love to see one specced defensively vs. a powerhammer scrapper 1v1. That’d be an interesting experiment.
skill 1 needs to speed up
skill 2 is fine
skill 3 is terrible, needs to shorten duration by half, be unblockable
skill 4 is terrible, needs to speed up animation as well as be aoe
skill 5 is terrible, needs to allow casting while moving.
I think the hammer is fantastic but the AA could definitely use a speed up as for the rest of skills, they could be updated but nothing extreme.

- The projectile immobilized needs to be faster, people can side step it.
- banish is fantastic, maybe let it hit more than 1 person though?
- fantastic skill, no change needed. Especially not knockback, it’s good to trap people INSIDE the ring.

It has very strong skills. Being a bit clunky makes it balanced. Giving it both strong effect and easy usage is not a good idea.
Also, don’t forget it is already meta weapon for guardian in PvE and WvW.
AA: Increase the duration of the symbol from 2 seconds to 3 seconds. the cast time could remain.
Mighty Blow: Increase the range from 300 to 400
Zealot’s Embrace: Increase the velocity of the projectile. Now a Projectile Finisher.
Banish: could be left alone but it could also use some movement impairing condition or vulnerability attached to it.
Ring of Warding: doesnt need anything. It can already spell doom for anything without stability.

Then why isn’t it used in PvP?
Also, don’t forget it is already meta weapon for guardian in PvE and WvW.
They can do PvP-only balance now (also you just auto attack in PvE unless you’re trying to break a bar).
Necro Greatsword is even clunkier than Guardian Hammer….
