For the first time in GW2 history, PvP guilds actually had a reason to exist, the members finally had something to play for as a team. Guild rewards kept everyone going.
Until now.
2 months of PvP, and this is what we get? 20 shard of glory? That’s vendor trash. Eggplants? Can’t even sell it. Mithril ingot? Can’t bother listing it on the TP (which by the way, is broken atm). Meanwhile we still can’t get any of the high tier HoT materials from PvP. But thanks for the mithril, I guess.
You know what, I’d be willing to forgive all of it. But then I saw the trophies. Did we play in that horrible meta for 2 months, just for some egg plants and tiny glass panels with some paint in it? “Underwhelming” doesn’t begin to describe it.
Couldn’t even hold a candle to the PvE trophies, despite the fact that only a limited amount of PvP trophies are being distributed per season.
How does Anet expect us to take PvP seriously when even they don’t?
