Guild Wars 2

Been gone from the game for 10 months. Has there been any talk about introducing new game modes? Or some sort of implementation of the greatness which was GW1 pvp? Back when GW1 was pumpin, the main thing that got itself a name was its great pvp. Now I know GW2 is a new and also different game, but ever since release and even still now I just can’t fathom why they would leave out or not implement one of the greatest aspects about GW1 in GW2 and still continue to do so 1 and a half years later. I’ve played a fair amount of mmorpgs over the years and back then and even now I can honestly say that GW1 pvp was the best mmorpg pvp I’ve ever played. You know what I’m talking about; Guild Vs Guild (GvG) and Heroes’ Ascent (HA). PvP that required skill and strategy. Even the Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry game modes were better than what we currently have.

Though I guess it’s hard now to implement what GW1 had since they decided to not have any dedicated healers in GW2. I miss playing healer in GvG and HA.

No one really knows why they made the mistake of not implementing GvG into gw2, but I and I’m sure many others would like to know, and if there are any plans on putting an official ranked GvG game mode.

Other game modes for PvP are ‘in the works’, which means March at the earliest, end of year at the latest

Although i disagree with the skill part in HA, i agree that those modes were awesome and the best pvp in any mmo until bloodspike became so popular you coudlnt even play gvg on rank 3 anymore.
