This is great. We need to thank KongZhong for trying once more to make Gw2 what it should be. $50,000 cash pool is great so many old players will come back plus new playerss. PvP is gonna be more alive than ever. Plus the new feature pack which should have new gamemodes this is gonna be so nice.

now all we need is new game modes (which i believe will be released with the next patch because it states “pvp and wvw” feature updates) and more frequent, like every 3 months, balance updates

new skills/weapons would be nice too

Depends on what the feature pack brings whether I like that they’re throwing such an amount at it.

It seems that any exclusive skins will be behind these tournaments, which I don’t really agree with. Unless they’ll come out with the league system and a decent reward infrastructure woven in. But I somehow fear that this won’t be the case.

as far as i understand they are hosting 3 tournaments, one in china one in na and one in eu with each of them awarding 50k usd.

Yes there are 3 tournaments with $50,000 prize pools. The first one is in december i believe that’s why its called the tournament series.

Balance team: The spotlight is now on you. The practice of releasing balance updates every 5 to 6 months is no longer acceptable.
