I read the patch notes and feel they will do very little to shift the gameplay in Skyhammer. I say this because the gun itself is such a pivotal area on the map. While dodging may help, the majority of cheese that takes place on the map when multi-KD classes (terror necros, turrent engies) camp the turret.

It really is a shame because the gun area promotes good duels that can change the outcome of the game due to how powerful the gun is.

I would ask that you consider adding laser barriers that burn people who touch them to the edges of the gun control platform or make it so players that get knocked off take damage and are teleported to the lobby at the center of the map instead of instant death.

I think this will make a much bigger difference than any of the mentioned changes in Ready Up without making knockback classes useless.

As it stands now engies can just camp turrets to insta KB you off and a terror necro doesn’t need to hit you. Procc off rune of the nightmare with a stunbreaker down is instant death without the other player having to press a button.

If they are camping the cannon that means they are fighting 4v5 or even 3v5 on the ground, the hammer can’t cover all 3 points at once. It’s just a matter of winning those fights on the ground and being smart about your rotations. It should be much more manageable now that you can avoid the hammer.

If you have good mates (Yeah i know…it’s soloq) you can fight 5v4 letting the usual braindead engi/mesmer/whatever camping hammer while you can just dodge it, it’s way easier than treb too since you can always see it with all those lights, announcements and stuff

Long story short: l2dodge and leave him on cannon
