I’m trying to get these sPvP titles since the WvW titles are ridiculous, thing is, Anet removed glory boosters which would have allowed me and anyone to achieve these titles in half the amount of time. Without them now, these titles are pretty kitten hard to get and are essentially valued more to those who dont already have them. That being said, wouldnt it logical to reduce the amount of points by half to make up for the loss of glory boosters? I mean, at 1000 points per victory, it would take me 1000 games to get the Legenday Champion title, and at roughly 5 min a match that’s 5000 min or 83 hours and thats IF I win every single game.

Firstly, even if there were glory boosters, it would not affect how fast you get these ranks! Glory points =/= rank points! Second, there are people out there with over 10,000 tournament games played! The time it takes for you to get Legendary Champion is nothing compared to how it used to be! Furthermore, Legendary Champion is a title you have to work for! You can’t just expect to farm 100 games PvE style and obtain that title that’s just thilly!

Wow just no. The only way I can tell the difference between people that have actually attempted to pvp a little more than casually and the Pve heroes that are flooding soloque is titles. If someone is a Reaper, or Champ (insert title here) I have a little more hope. If I see “been there done that”, “the sunbringer”, “hero of lions arch” etc I get discouraged because I feel they will likely not be as knowledgeable about pvp tactics.

lol maxed rank was basically handed to everyone so casuals like you can get it in a couple months with little to no effort, these titles aren’t even worth getting anymore cause everyone is a dragon rank now and you still want it to be spoon fed to you?

Teehee, I explicitly wear my PvE titles in PvP because people assume I am harmless. Mind games!

I wear my PvP titles in WvW because people follow them like lemmings.
