Who is doing this track?

It gives out nothing but trick or treat bags, personalized trick or treat bags, tomes of knowledge, and a 20 slot bag at the end.

I guess it’s a way to load up on bags without PvE… But it seems kind of low… Much lower than other tracks even.

Am I wrong?

Meh. I like the 20 slot bag at the end. It’s actually something I can use. All the other reward tracks are trash to begin with.

It’s nothing more than yet another attempt to salvage the sinking, sorry! I mean sunken ship that is this games PvP.

Because PvP players want more PvE rewards.

And besides, the bags are full of trash, it’s so stupid.

But-but-but, there is a chance to get something that is worth a lot! And there is a chance of getting something that basically give you a chance to get a super rare Halloween skin, which is, you guessed it, worth a lot! Because RNG^2 is better than RNG!

That being said, by farming the labyrinth you get so many bags the reward track isn’t really worth it.

Mad kings clock tower takes like a minuet to run and gives 5 ToT bags per… as a regular pvper I already have tons of tomes, and the 20 slot bag is a lot less time to farm out in PvE.

I don’t find much of a point :s

We should be earning cobs by 5th tier.

SoloQ is full of pve carebears right now. Going to play something else till this event is over

Last time I checked 20 slot bag is worth 8+ gold. If its tradable that’s a pretty good way to make gold.
However, pvp bags use to cost 500 glory, so 20 slot bag for 500 glory was how it was a long time ago and I had half million glory that went poof without reimbursement, so I think I deserve unlimited free 20 slot bags, non tradable of course.

If any ANet devs see this thread, can you confirm whether or not the Halloween track is a permanent addition to the PvP tracks? Or if it’s just temporary?

EDIT: Yeah, to the OP, I think this track is basically just a way for PvP-only players to still get festive stuff if they don’t want to PvE.

i believe it is temporary, until the halloween event goes away and wintersday event start.
i think we will have a wintersday pvp track too.

earning candy cobs from the halloween pvp track sounds good, and it should have been that way.

I like the bag. I don’t like PvE enough to bother farming for them there. And getting a few 20 slot bags for doing what I love is perfectly fine with me.

The track is not worth doing. You can get the bag from the vendor in LA and you can farm the required candy corn much, much faster elsewhere.

Yea, though the thought was nice, and I am glad they finally decided not to ignore PvP when the festival is up, the track is a bit of a lackluster… Like Kolompi says, you can farm candy corn way easier and faster in other areas of the game…

I hope Wintersday would be different… They really need to stabalize the rewards on every level of the game if they want to have PvE things so badly in PvP….

The track gives 7+ guaranteed golds if you sell the bags on trading post, if im not wrong it gives more gold than any other track and 20 slot bag + tomes of knowledge. So the track is quite good for those who always whine how they get no gold for PVP.

Didn’t know you could sell the bags. Thought they were “account bound on acquire.”

Anyway, I would also like to know whether or not this track will persist after the Halloween event is over. I’d hate to get 3/4 of the way through the track, trying to get the bag, then not be able to finish. That would be a big waste of time.

The Personalised ToT bags are account bound, and you do get some for completing the tiers in the Halloween track. However, the majority are the sellable ones.

Anyway, I have a feeling that it’s not actually going away after Halloween. Why? Because the Maize Balm means that PvE players can farm the ToT bags all-year round (and it was even confirmed by the devs that this was why they introduced the Maize Balm, so players can have chances all year round to get super rare stuff like Zuzu and Gwynefred).

So if the PvE players can access ToT bags all year, it stands to reason that the Halloween reward track would stay as well so PvP players can do the same.

The bags are account bound. The reward track is a joke considering the time it takes to get several ToT bags in PvP versus in PvE is like 100x longer.

Looks like this track is permanent, or bugged, it is repeatable currently after halloween.

I’ve noticed the same thing. I figured after Halloween, the track would be gone as well, but who knows. After a less than helpful response to my own thread, I’m guessing certain players want to continue using it for . . . their own benefit.

That shouldn’t surprise me.
