Happy with the patch
This patch has addressed some pretty major complaints that have been made by the pvp community since beta, ie: quickness, no pvp skin on char selection screen, queuing into dc’d team members. These fixes + the addition of new skins to the cash shop to play around with (although i’m not a fan of how they rng off the boxes -.-) have exceeded my expectations for this patch, which (from what I understood) was mainly for wvw. Balance could have been more… ambitious, but hey at least they gave us something.
My overall feedback (for anet) would be just to focus on more smaller aesthetic things in the future (gear skins), because they will help monetize the game, but more importantly keep people like me (who like to play fashion show with their characters all day) playing, for relatively low resource demand -it’s quiet literally the “best bang for your buck” in terms of content development, so having a few people on the art team just pumping out new skins every few weeks would be awesome.

I have done a bit of browsing, but it’s mostly just warriors complaining about quickness nerf at this point, which is what will always happen after any major mechanic is changed (lol remember when they took out wep changing?). Looking for general feedback/expectations
Engineer had some painful changes. Most notably is how they removed the Flamethrower Kit from PvP. (By removing Flame Blasts viability.)

Engineers always get a small amount of bug fixes/buffs that basically amount to nothing, then a huge nerf that completely overshadows it. Until this pattern is broken I doubt ill ever be impressed with any of these patches
five or six months ago that would have been a great upgrade, because the community would feel followed and helped in the development of this game. Now, after seven months, this patch is ridiculous as it is not enough.
if anet really take to heart the pvp community in the coming days will release other patches that need to finish what for many is a patch incomplete.
Otherwise, I think there is no more “patch of April” to keep the rest.
One word. Disappointing.
