Random thread, but I occasionally find myself in other people’s highlight videos. I was in a Chaith highlight as one of the guys losing a 1v2, but it looks like he took it down or it expired or something. I also found myself playing engi in a video that features me like 1/4 of the time (obviously the asura named Tiny Fluffette.) I think I might be in a highlight of that dragon-faced asura ranger on Yak’s Bend as well.

ind of small community despite the millions of people who own the game.

I’ve seen one of my friends getting wrecked in a wvw highlight.

And I’ve seen another video of a team praising an enemy warrior carrying a team with people who decided to stand around like quitters. At end of vid I saw that the warrior was my friend aaaaaaas lol.

I haven’t seen myself in another’s vid though. I did pewpew gank tapdatmouse one time after he ganked me while I was fighting his bodyguard but I doubt that got highlighted ;-)

I was watching someone random twitch ranger the other day and he knew who I was, I was like WTF??? It’s so weird.

I am on hod so I probably don’t get noticed too much. I also havnt roamed much in the past year. I just didn’t find empty desert bl entertaining enough. Now when I do roam its everyother person running builds that just fold to condi longbow or facetank it. Like I can get the exact same thing out of pve with trash mobs and champs…

I was featured in one of Choxies vids awhile back before hot

I think I was around lvl 30ish and i was in toughness/vitality gear i believe along with the guard buffs, both of which back in the day, used to massively scale your hp and armor when uplevelled.

I didn’t contribute much dmg wise, but i pulled off a few choice stuns to let us win a 2v3.

Didnt realise it was choxie until the end of the fight and was pretty chuffed to be featured in a vid

Yes and it makes me unamused if people upload things without my consent, especially if it contains voice com.

I think i was in jebros/caeds/roms stream couple times xD Don’t know about youtube.

The movement I understand and happened after I posted. I was more concerned with the thread ban.

More on topic, I remember running burn Guardian before the condition stack patch (where burning only stacked duration). I was in a match against Hugh Norfolk, Rubi Bayer, and an ESL player whose name I’ve forgotten (It was someone from NA I recognized, who played Scepter Fresh Air). I don’t think it was in a pvp 101, but word on the street was it was streamed.

My team actually won, and I even got noticed by Senpai.

Supposedly i’ve been in quite a few Twitch streams, unaware that some one was streaming. One day I got messages from 3 people each saying “ur famous”… I was so confused.

I ended up on the pre HOT twitch stream when Phanta and Hugh were showing a preview for stronghold. We ended up beating them pretty handily which was nice.

I’ve been on chaiths stream a couple of times. If other ESL players streamed I mightve been there. One time I killed biklen 1v1 in wvw. Not sure if that was streamed.

Sammpo recorded some of my 1v1 games, where I was just having fun with random gimmick-y builds. Surprisingly many are still recognizing me and sending whispers or mail.
And during HoT beta I was told I was in some necro gameplay vid by Hollts(?) playing beta rev.
As for streams that I know of, I’ve been on Sizers.

I have been on a season 2 ranked pvp highlights video on YouTube that was posted here. It showed me losing a 1v1 to another ranger without dealing any significant damage which I would never let happen any more!

I have been on Rom’s stream once that I know of when he was playing warrior and he destroyed me every time we fought, lol. This was a while ago however.

I have been on Helseth’s stream quite a lot that I know of. Just yesterday I was on his stream and it showed me beating him in a 1v1 twice in the same game. He was playing mesmer as well and I was on ranger. I would have loved to see how he reacted because that was the first time I know of that I was playing my best on someone’s stream.

I know I’ve been featured in some videos, most recent one I can recall was one of Jebro’s videos top plays vid? Some ranger carrying with rez leading to my team flopping in the end.

Ive only seen one and that was when my guildie made a pvp montage

Found a video of me getting knocked off a cliff in Alpine Borderlands by a ranger – was pretty funny to be honest.
