In my first ever match on a Dragon Hunter I won a 2v1 and 1-shot someone else while being invulnerable, I also never died with an offensive amulet. And I didn’t even read the trait lines, I don’t even know what the bow skills do except that bow 5 is kinda like a meteor shower that hit hard at the end.

Congratulation to the balance team, and I’m serious: I realized finally that I’m actually having fun again! I guess I’m not the only one having so much fun now as well, since in most match I play I’m also paired with 1 or 2 other guardians.

One thing bothering me however, I feel I have to apologize to every elementalist when I kill them, because I used to play one. I’m hoping to forget about that class soon and move on like many people already did (I was late to the party being gone 6 months). It’s also very funny sometimes how quick they die and you can make new friends when you engage in socializing with them and tell them you used to be a sad elementalist as well (when they are down).

To conclude, if you can read between the lines, I would like to say that if there was one thing left holding your community together, it’s that most of us are on the same page and share similar views in regards to class balance.

Playing ele is kind of like playing tetris. It’s a cool game for what it’s worth, but certainly not what you’d expect to be doing when you log into a modern day MMO.

Never played a DH. Played against plenty of them. Can confirm though, they do tend to stand still on point, spam through their skills, yet hit like trucks despite not using the typical speed and momentum physics requires of such a vehicle XD. Oh and invulns/blocks yada yada.

With the glass amulet meta, you should expect to see a lot of them

Don’t stop at DH, play glass Mesmer/Warrior/Engi/Thief… too

Then you will realize that we’re masochists for even considering playing a glass Ele. I have to admit it though, the feeling that you get when you outplay people as a glass Ele is great

I feel the pain …. On one side i am happy if ele is abandoned by the “Mob” becaue i like to play diffrent and flexible but on the other side ele´s fluidity has been hit so hard it´s unfun …. I wan´t a reactive flexible playstyle that allows me to counter with good play and building … a cry for diversity ….

You are either a classical forum troll or you just cant understand what OP post is all about. Its about effort-ressult balance. You can be a godlike elementalist player strugling to survive and still die to a 1-2 button classes that doesnt know how to use their class. It is not balance when you can pick a class that requires you 0 effort to play and one-twoshot any other class in pvp.

I think a lot of eles agree that cleric and bunker meta need to go, but kitten give us something to actually contribute to the team – dmg or survivability or utility or anything usefull (i do use the word “or” not “and”). After eles were hard nerfed when cele was still a thing we never got our scaling back, nor nerfs reversed.
