Hedging against pip loss after win streak?

I’ve lost quite a bit, then won a bit more. I’m now up to four pips on T5 emerald and knowing my match trends I will lose the next battle. I was thinking of doing a LFG but that hardly ever works out well (in PvE at least). A LFG with “Must be meta” or, “Must have HoT” might make me look bad but I want to keep out the FtP and people who don’t know how to rotate. Ele has a low skill floor but high skill ceiling (so good players are excellent on it while noobs could still be useful due to the nature of the class) so it seems safe. Maybe I should ask for two other tempests, chrono, and herald? Just a thought but if the team is good enough I’d risk facing another good team.

Thoughts?

Update: tried soloQing, lost a pip against a premade then another vs. the same one. They obviously had teamspeak and always somehow managed to be in the right place at the right time (from their point of view) even being able to get away with 3 capping at times. Last game we had a warrior and I was holding 3 on a point but someone jumped to 2v3 when the idea was to stall them at that one point so they can grab the other points.

I’m waiting awhile before queuing again since they might not be on later. Oh well, now I’m 3 pips away from Sapphire.

Maybe my ele’s class MMR is too high now and I need to queue with a fresh class (engineer) to carry my way to sapphire? So I’d be having matches with weaker players stuck around the same league tier (when you have poor rubies and good emeralds something’s wrong with the MMR to league relationship.)
