Doesn’t losing in spvp mean that you have less points?

I don’t get it…

I get hit 90+ times and die (up to 140 times!) they can STILL hit by me until they are down but they can still get up and destroy me.

I know I am not a “bad” player even with rheumatoid arthritis, I’ve played MMOs as long as they have been around but I win far more on my “wimpy” Ranger in spvp with support, my warrior seems useless unless I use a GS – why can’t the rifle and ax/shield do as well – I can’t do GS with my disorientation issues. (working on them in the game – it’s part of my personal ‘rehabilitation’)

The personal scoring system is bad and it is going to be reworked. Personal score is based off all the things you see at the bottom of the scoreboard primarily kills and point captures while the majority of points your team will get is typically based on holding points which you don’t get any personal points for over time.

key to playing hot join:

1. ignore objectives unless you can quickly/easily flip or cap
2. follow the majority of your team
3. tag enemies – don’t bother focusing with your team, tag/aoe as many enemies as you can then start working on killing them. If you see someone go down, throw a few hits on them before they get stomped so you get credit.
4. Get side objectives – killing npcs gives good points
5. never defend
6. spec for dps

i know it makes zero sense, but that’s how it works.
