Is it just me or this days i see a lot of engineers on SPVP and they are incredible hard to kill.

I just can’t keep fighting with them is such a small area.

Burn, root, knocks, confusion, bleeds, crippling . . . and those tourrents!!

My main is a thief, is because of my profession that engi is a hard counter to me?

I mean i do not mind if it is the case . . . but it is the same to all?

Any advise to improve my gaming?

PU Mesmer . . . when well played almost impossible to kill.

Any advise with engis, sometimes i try to take out fast the tourrents but they have to much hp for my aoe attacks.

Do not worry, you are not the only one who has problems to deal with engis.

Also yeah engis are a tough match for thieves.

A tip: try to range them with your shortbow do 4 and 2 if you get stealth try 1 then when they have 60 or 50% hp, switch to your main set and try to stop their heal, they always pop their tool which makes them small after this they will dodge, in that short time you have to interrupt their heal (they will heal after this dodge), the rest is pure dps.

Sizer does reasonably well vs engineers. He streams now including some duels/skirmishes vs engi class hero Teldo. In soloq and duel server in between queues. He won last duel ive watched vs teldo…so its not impossible :P

But the problem if i range them, they also apply hard conditions on range and pistol hits nice.

Someone mentioned every class has at least one class they are guaranteed to be able to kill 1v1. At equal skill level, not counting any seriously underpowered classes, what class can Guardians beat most of the time? Not crying or anything because Guards are strong in a team sense but really to me they are a poor 1v1 class at equal skill level.

I play most DPS build.

10/30/0/030 trickery with both S/P and D/P for burst
10/30/30/0/0 When i want to distract enemies D/P for surviving. (also damage is not that bad)
And some other condi specs that i don’t like much because too boring xD
