I don’t know but our pre-made team faces recently others rank around 20+, we are rank around 20+, even the opposed party is pugs, they are still around r20+. Don’t know why it happened to you.

I guess this happens more often if you play outside of the primetime. I guess the system gives you a match so you do not have to wait too long. Even if the teams do not fit

My guess is that they are starting new players out at the 50th percentile, assuming they are average. It would be a much better experience for everyone if they assumed 10% instead.

If i`m not entirely mistaken just winning 1 tournament gets you enough rankpoints for rank 2. So it is entirely irrelevant if these guys were a terrible team on their second accounts or really just lowies playing their first game.

Either way this was the first match for 3 completely new accounts.
I would like to know what ladder rank OP had at that time…
