How does one take a point from a turret engi? Not criticizing you, but if you know the weaknesses of your build, please share them so people like me who don’t know are better equipped to deal with it.

I’m sorry that you get that sort of responses. That can’t be fun, especially if it happens frequently. This thread, however, has no real purpose. I’ve seen people make similar threads, but in those they at least actually explained the weakness of their build, making the thread at least a little useful.

Lol OP AI build will ALWAYS get hate just have to understand what your getting yourself into really. I’ve always played minion type roles in every game I play I like feeling like I’m swarming my enemy so thats how I play but people will always get mad because they feel its overpowered. Turret engi is not overpowered if that was the case you’d see them being played in tournaments and by the pros/top players. Turret engi can be countered by pew pewing from distance or ganking them because they have 0 mobility. Top players actually consider turret engi kinda free points tbh. OP just keep doing what your doing and bask in the hate! Let them hate from their downstate!!!!!

Anyway, if youre liking the boring playstyle even after playing it everywhere, i heard wallmart has a sale on brains. Or you can buy a cheap chinese person to play game instead of you.

Turret engineers have specific weaknesses.

1.) Conditions. I only have two condition clears with the healing turret – and a chance at converting them into boons via a trait or sending them back to you, via a rune.

2.) Stuns. I have one stun break. Period. And absolutely zero if the thumper is deployed.

3.) Extreme range (aka ranger) – If I can’t get out of your LoS and draw you in closer, I can’t out DPS you.

That’s the same as normal engineers lol.. Except you can only focus on defense because AI does offense for you

I could care less if you play turret engi, but don’t act like it requires skill or brain activity

It’s great for bad players fighting bad players…

Friendly reminder that, whenever you down someone as a turret engi, you did literally nothing. It was all AI. So dont go around telling people to “l2p” against an AFK build.

I actually giggle when people play condition mesmer on my ele since it really is not effective at all against the amount of condi removal. On my engie the worst that a condition mesmer can do is usually make me withdrawal from the point to somewhere else unless the condition mesmer +1’s a fight.

Exactly, so why do people complain so much about condition Mesmers? They’re fun to play, but aren’t the most effective.

It’s just a sad and brainless build, but not the fault of the player but of the game. The problem is the players that try to 1v1 them in an on-point fight.
