Honestly ... sPvP is a failed endeavor.
It may be where we want it to be in about a year or so
The lack of direction will prevent more time alone fixing the problem.
This has been a recurring issue from the beginning of GW1. They need a new balance team.

^^^^^^^^This. There never was a real plan on how to proceed with pvp and that is really starting to show.
It’s a shame because it is a great game and has alot of potential.

pvp builds around the world, and the wvw cant build community around fighting no name players, they are trying to turn it into a week long battleground of generic fighting.
Might as well turn it to 2 factions and make it a day long battleground, this is not rvr like we had hoped.
people interested in spvp moved to lol, it has a horrid community, but it has gameplay peopel like

sPvP fails because they don’t even get the basic structure to support PvP. It is not about balance, map, or game types. All we really need to get the PvP community growing are: Separated Solo Q – Solo ladder and Team Q – Team ladder.
Such a simple and standard concept. It is astonishing that they still don’t get it.
