I am fine with this thread getting deleted/frozen if I can get the answer, not really sure where to look.
I read the sPvP updates, interesting. Not sure what the impact is, I haven’t done much pvp yet though I plan to.
Can I join pvp games with my friends yet? That has been the biggest annoyance to me thus far, and is really all I am currently concerned with before I seriously get into tournaments. If there are lots of threads about this, direct me where to go. I haven’t been actively checking the forums, just logged on after reading patch notes.

You can play tPvP on the same team as your friend at any time. You can sPvP with your friends if you’re put on the same team, or if a space becomes available on the other side, and either of you switch teams during the fight. Most of the time in sPvP my wife and I end up on different teams in sPvP.

Really the only way is to do tournaments. You can submit a partial roster for free tournaments. Other than that you can hope you get on same team in spvp server.
