Since the update for the SPvP system was released the servers now are either full or just none existence for Hot Join(the server browser) in general. Right now it is very hard to find a room of 8v8 at any given time with or without the filters because there is more spectators/afkers then anything else. And WHOLE lot of duelers who can’t make their own servers is also not fun to walk into.

Hotjoin is boring. tPvP you need to wait for your favorite maps…
→ This pretty much makes sPvP boring if you only think tournaments are fun because the leaving and hotjoining in hotjoin is not creating fun matches.

You can’t play it every day and need to wait for the maps you want to play and if there’s another map stop playing for a few days.

But who cares about hotjoin… lol. The Custom Arenas are fail. I don’t think the’ll sell that many. Maybe guilds that use it with the “ready button” setting. But other’s don’t need it – and for dueling you shouldn’t pay. And with hotjoin only mechanics it is boring.

Press the standard filter, then the Play Now button. You’ll end up in a game that will be full 8 vs 8 in a few seconds. Works much better than before the patch, where pressing play now sent you to near empty games more often than not.

So Hot Join improved.

Personally, i only play sPvP which was the only reason i bought the game during its beta phases. And if this game is going for the “esports” scene then we need more player that actually plays than just afk and spectating.

Im sure Anet will find a way to actually cut down the server list to actually plug in a dueling arena system that separate from regular team hot joins. Or we just continuing to see people saying “We are dueling, please leave” (what they really are saying is “Dueling here. Leave we are inferior than you, we don’t give a ****!”).

Pretentious Self-entitled Prick Diary:
Today I broke the shield of one but couldn’t dodge the enraged counter attack. I’ll focus on healing my wounds for a while.

all the hot join players are now in the bottom 30% of tpvp it is horribad if you have bad luck and end up down there. Went on a 10 game losing streak the other day and spent some time there i didn’t think i would ever make it back out of that hell.
