hello all, I have been playing spvp for a while now and my pvp rank is close to 11. I am consistently receiving game lag in hot join matches. I have a little over 900 hours in the game at the moment and haven’t experienced much lag in pve and wvw. Is spvp always this laggy or what?

I am mostly talking about skill activation lag that takes 2-3 seconds to cast a skill / hot swap weapons and most times my skills will continue flashing as if they are being activated then I will get disconnected. This has happened on three different quad core desktops and my internet is 50 meg down and five meg up. My settings are on max quality and I around 100fps.

I wish I could blame it on my end and give arenanet credit, but this only happens to me in spvp, I spend most of my time in pve and wvw and don’t experience this kind of lag ever. Can somebody please tell me spvp isn’t always like this and i’m just playing at the wrong times or is this what i should be getting use to?

I’ve had it happening in the last three weeks, haven’t been doing enough s/tPVP to isolate the issue there as it’s also been happening in PVE and WvW for me.
