I was stuck in the 50/50 win/lose ratio too. Tried everything, condi reaper, scrapper, power shiro, and even my main as a daredevil thief. Nothing was working except occasional win streaks.

Then I rerolled ele. I always found ele intimidating especially with 4 attunements and knowing when to switch and when not to. That being said the current healing build is super easy. Suddenly I was on 10+ win streaks. Focus offhand is amazing, adds great projectile reflects but even better (for me) was on earth you get condi clear and immune to damage. Slightly changed the utilities and added armor of earth and I was golden.

Definitely the smartest current meta build to run especially with pugs. You can be a great dps all day but 4 good dps and 1 heal > 5 good dps, unless the opposing team is good as sides which usually at lower tiers they aren’t. And as heals you can escort and keep those bombers alive on conquest even if they have a few on defense attacking them. I saw a joke on map chat but it’s so true, the team with the ele is the team that wins.

If you’ll pay attention on who got legendary rank atm, ALL of them are either necro or ele, other classes in pvp exist just as decoration, but actually this game has only 2 useful classes – boon corrupting necro and healer ele.

I disagree. I’m neither a necro nor an ele. 100% win rate in S3.

Getting carried by friends doesn’t count, obviously I was talking about solo queue.

LOL. I did solo queue for all 3 seasons. All 3 seasons, legend. Really more of a L2P issue.

A lot of the community knows, a lot are still absolutely clueless judging by mapchat.

Everyone knows you need an ele to win in this game. In every team-based game you lose without a support. Since auramancer in the only support build in the game, ele=win

Yes and no. Its the best support available. Even other dps classes like power shiro are also support b/c they buff the party.

I wouldn’t say everyone knows b/c apparently a lot of people in mapchat still don’t know, maybe the forum users who tend to be more active or at least take more initiative. Now if you’re an exp player with LoL or something then yes I would expect you to know the significance or a strong support.

OP is incredible lucky. Normally the downside of playing ele is: you meet stubborn (not so good most of time) ele’s that don’t want to switch. Result: either YOU LOG or you loose. Unless the other ele has a surprise dps build, or your dps is like top tier in skills (and can sort of fight 3 vs 4 dps (with double ele as support), it won’t work and you’ll loose. Especially in the lower mmr tier brackets.

So it is 40% matches on ele (you alone ele in team) and 60% matches ‘switch to other prof you play very well or go home’.

well, maybe by september things would be different as another child comes out.
i gotta finish the part 4 achievements before season 3 ends.

I just wonder that there are still players who didn’t deactivate stronghold.

Those who didn’t do it, are mostly not aware of the situation. Those are 95% of newbie in pvp

Usually I didn’t meet any other eles on my team till at least ruby. And if they weren’t that great its still an op build so shouldn’t matter.

What I normally did was, and worked really well almost every time, if we had double ele and they didn’t switch I just switched to power shiro b/c its incredibly strong and also provides nice group buffs, and its weakness is condi bomb but with an ele on my team if I stuck near it often condis weren’t an issue (and I had staff as my 2nd weapon if i needed it or a nice knockdown and block too) Thus now we had 2 very strong players supporting mid in different ways, usually guarantying a win in a team fight.
