How are Leaderboard Rankings Determined?
Percent means you are better than #% of the players who’ve played 10+ games in spvp minus top 1000.
Ranking is determined by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system. Basically you have a hidden rating that gets updated each game you play and that is what determines your LB rank.
Also there is decay.
Don’t know math for either.

sPvP Rank Dragon – 8 Champ Titles – Ruby Division
That “decay” is almost non-existant if it even exists at all. The same people have been sitting in the top ten solo queue forever now without having played any matches at all.
The decay is a rating decay, not an MMR decay. Because of that, if you come back after a month out of pvp and play 1 game, you will shoot back up to around where you were at.

I’ll have to take your word for it, as I never see the numbers for these players games won/loss numbers ever change.

It includes the top 1000 actually.

From what ive experienced; decay is about 100 per day if youre in the top 1000, which only applies to actual rating (not MMR ofc). Not sure how fast it is in the top 50 though.

I was looking over the wikipedia elo article. That makes sense then, it’s not about games won, it’s about the combined rating of the players which is hidden. I guess wins now are going to be worth less because of all the newer players in PvP. Losses too.
