Some of my matches I see the most outrageous offenders. In my most recent game, after losing the first push on mid (thanks to a 3v4 because someone didn’t leave the starting area which also seems to happen over 50% of my games), one of my teammates was MORE than obvious about throwing the match. Running into the fight and using emotes instead of attacking, and deliberately getting himself killed to feed more points.

What category do I report them under? Does anet even give a kitten about this behavior?

Sure but may wanna record your games so you can upload it for anet to take a look into. Sure they can look into chat logs, and combat info to see, but an actual vid of him doing that will help your case.

it depends on the situation . if i am , as before 36-250 i go afk … it is only a waste of time and energy .

This was immediately after the first fight was lost, their team had around 60 points. And i’m not completely sure he even participated in the first fight

Most matches at lower level will be over after first wipe. If you are up against a 60-0, a team member who probably was going thru a 20 loss streak, he’d not give a rat’s kitten to try for a comeback. He is too tired and bored. 20 losses vs 21. Who cares? He is in the kittenters anyway.

the only real solution for this game is stopping playing it . They don’t want to correct it but when they will lose a lot of players they will be forced to change it …

As I remember the developers textually said as “using bots” (obviously they aren’t using a bot but it fills the “trying to manipulate the competition” slot).

ANet wants you to report afking as botting. .

I do my daily again, it’s called AFK 3 times event.

New strategy against opponent team: demoralize they’r players

Ive got one player on my blocked list, that afks every match I play with him… everytime he gets reported by 4 people. He has been on that list for 3 days now.

Cant be that much of a priority to anet.
