Today I was playing my ranger and got into a one on one with another ranger at a capture point. He totally smoked me.

I’m still fairly new to the game and afterwards I saw that he was rank 40.

Does the higher rank have anything to do with your power or was it just a case of him being more experienced, better specced etc.?

Rank doesn’t do anything but prove the time you spent PVPing.

Generally an high rank player is “stronger” because he has more experience and generally knows the game better than a low rank.

it will be the spec, im guessing it was either a healing or trap ranger and the experience

rank has nothing to do with stats

This isn’t really on topic, but you can also type /rank to show off your rank outside of sPvP matches, i know that’s the only reason i’m even PvPing as much as i am lately xD.

Well that and Turret Engi is freaking hilariously awesome in tPvP
