dps test for all professions

how fast can you kill the heavy golem using any skills u can muster

just my pet managed it in 2.7 secs which I thought was pretty darn good for a ranger considering I left it all down to my pet

please post your videos for proof that you killed within the time frame you say

yes thieves can do it in less than a second

I was hoping to see across the board to see the differences between burst could be interesting

just cus thief does it fastest doesnt mean the other professions cant or be good at it..

100b is probably second under frenzy and signet. And 3rd or tied for 2nd is Elementalist and some of their flame combo’s.

Nope not Ele unless built pure GC which in most cases isn’t practical to play with.

My thoughts for a realistic build would be…

1. Backstab Thief
2. 100b Frenzy Warrior
3. Shatter Mesmer
4. Scepter/Dagger Ele or Guardian Burst build
5. Ranger
6. Engineer / Necro

Although #4 and #5 are build dependent, don’t really know much about Necro and Engi burst though.

Actually if you play a glasscanon Engineer with Rifle and Toolkit you do it in under 2 seconds aswell.. don’t know exactly what long – but I can test it out!

I can down it in about 1 second with my engineer static discharge burst

Walorx – okay good to know… I already thought that it would be faster but didn’t want to state low numbers until I couldn’t confirm.

But I also remember it pressing 5 buttons in a row and somewhere in the middle the Golem already falls apart :-)

It’s kind of a gimmicky build, but not designed for killing Heavy Golems. It’s pretty good in hot-join sPvP and WvW.

not got a video, but a full glass cannon engineer build i use can kill it pretty dam fast (within a second or two)

Grenade Barrage

(Big Ole’ Bomb explodes for 5-6k right as you land the jumpshot for 3-4k and then grenade barrage for 5-6k) this was’nt even using quickness, then it’d be well under a second!

also ele using full glass fire build S/D with arcane 100% crit

pretty dam fast, throw in the instant arcane attacks for even more destruction.

fastest i got was half a second (0:55) with a fire ele but i only gave it 2 attempts,
with better timing it could be instant since it relies on instant/fast casts combined with dragon’s tooth.
also in the vid is Beastmastery Ranger and Rifle Engineer!

My Necro can do it in under 10 minutes

switch kit grenade barrage , regular grenade barrage.. dead.. so about 0.5sec-1sec
