Hopefully this gives anet some idea of how many players are losing pips, despite having a team member disconnect during a match.

I’ve had it happen to me personally 3 times now.

I believe the idea was that if you have a player disconnect, and your team loses the game would be counted as a no contest and you wouldn’t lose a pip.

It happened to me once. And no, i wasnt in party with him prior match or ever.

never happened to me, always when i have had a dc’ed player i would lose nothing

Few times. But I’ve had countless times those who “dc” and then come back to afk and my pips go ‘byebye’.

Happened once to me. However, few people quit my games, and we were going to lose anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Was in the middle of a match about a hour ago…I was disconnected while my team was winning…by time I got back in we had loss the match 492-500. Happens a lot! Credit loss

when did the player d/c ?
right at the start or middle or end game ?

i think pip loss only prevented if the d/c player fail to reconnect within 2 minutes and before the match ended at 500 or greater or 15 minutes time end.

All of my matches with d/c’s or 4 v 5s where my team never even had a 5th resulted in a pip loss for me. Every single one, lol.

Another of these pips lost today. Necro is afk 2 mins @ spawn. Then goes ld for another minute+. So a total of more than three minutes 4vs5. We lost 4xx-502 and still lost the kitten pip..
