Hello arenanet, this player always doing same thing. playing around 1 or 2 min then goes afk on base and blocking everyone..

i reported him maybe 10 times also all other players too so he’s still in game and he’s still doing same thing.. There was a ele too dont remember him name but he was trolling everyone on diamond division…

Please do something about him i am so sick of him.. i lost maybe 8-9 pips because of him..

He is usually using “Danneoz Rv” name, revenant. Dankan.7158 account name..

You should take out his account info so you don’t get an infraction. Also nothing will be done.

They can’t ban anyone for being AFK because there is no option to report that. If you report for botting they just look at the logs and conclude that the person was not botting and that is it.

I think that if you keep reporting ppl for botting when they AFK it might lead to getting banned yourself for abusing the reporting system.

Sucks for sure but there is nothing you can do but to beg Anet to add a possibility to report for griefing or something.

What a wonderful idea, I didn’t even think of that (maybe I’m not twisted enough). Lower your mmr and earn gold while doing it. Is there no stopping these guys?

If there was 4v5 logic in place then apply an idle timer to players in spawn and boot them after a certain time regardless of movement in spawn. Timer runs while you remain in spawn. Saw this in other games and it worked pretty well to prevent people from going AFK in spawn or giving up and not going out. Someone throwing the game could still just run endlessly to their death but its something.

I remember one dev saying that we should report for botting if someone was AFK on a match, dunno where he posted it tho
