Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone

A few days ago i decided to do PvP for the ascended back skin, which means up to Ruby and no more, i absolutely have no plans to go further since im not a PvP fanboy.

Now the thing is, I spent most of my day earning and loosing two pips in saphire! I dont have a solid group to go through tiers with so I am forced to que randomly, which brings with it:

• Random team comp.
• Players whoa are clueless to the very basic tactics
• Constant dis-advantage due to classes like thieves and rangers being packed in one party.

Please dont get me wrong here, im less than an average PvPer, but i go in the match with a winning mindset and I use + Inform the team of the basic tactic. Consider all the above as blowing out steam.

My question: how am i (the average player with limited play time) supposed to advance through tiers when a couple of pips takes a whole day to earn and each tier has 5 of them! I tried my best all day but honestly i just gave up since its so random you can keep loosing for the entire play time which normally led me to the thought of quitting and forget about the skin.

If you have any ideas or suggestions Im all ears!

Well, you have a lot of options :
-Play late at night (or really early), the level is more balanced during those times
-Quit your job and play all day, that’s the brute force methods.
-Find a premade of 2-3 members with good guildies.
-Having the luck to get a winning streak. That was my case from ruby tier 1 to ruby tier 5. I’m now blocked in this tier. I’m trying the brute force method myself there.

Well, to be fair i found a decent group about 2 days ago and glued my self to them, really nice people.. but that was Emerald which is done.

Last night was horrible, a loosing streak plus all the salt on map / team chat. I deffo cant go brute force so i’ll just HOPE i get lucky with a winning streak somehow..

Man .. PvP is TOXIC!

Yes it is ^^ Between “it’s lost” when you get 50 points differences at the beginning and people that are literally stopping playing the game once they loose a little.

I hate those guys, and then they tell you “most horrible team ever”
