Outside of premade play S/M is so squishy, you can down it with any focus.
Keep in mind that Viper is as tanky as Berskerker, also it doesn’t have access to Infused Light, because that one require Glynt.

Put Reaper on him. Once he swaps to Shiro, corrupt all of his boons. He will have no answer without Mallyx.

Focus him when he bursts/focus with direct damage when he’s in Mallyx. Mallyx bursts exhaust energy.

Get unblockable stuff. Slick Shoes will wreck Revenant, for example.

Gang him up. It’s good Assasin-type build, but will have serious problems being outmanned.

Thief hard counters revs.

1) Don’t play a condi build
2) Bring enough condition removal

Lately, I have had a lot of success beating Mallyx/Shiro revenants on a marauder scrapper. These beasts are rather squishy, so if you use your elixirs wisely, you should win most duels.

It’s even easier in team fights: make sure your team has a player or two dedicated to AoE condi removal. If you soloq, then your victory is conditioned by your team composition anyway, so just do your best.

This isn’t duelling arena. You can beat Mallyx/Shiro build quickly on most builds, but on some it may take longer. Why waste a minute when combination of Reaper and Scrapper kills it within 5 seconds?

spam soft cc, kite, when he switches to mallyx, retreat and let his resistance wear off, come back and hard cc damage chain. when his other stance is up in 10sec he wont have a choice but to switch to it for a stunbreaker.
