How to fix PvP once and for all

I’m pretty sure we all know how to fix PvP. There’s only one solution and it’s an obvious one. Ever since this abomination was implemented to PvP, PvP took a turn for the worse. This abomination is the Revenant class. If this class was simply removed from PvP, it would fix a lot of things. But we all know Anet won’t do that. And we also know they’re not going to balance their game.
Why don’t we just have one class with one weapon that can only auto attack, and all the same utility skills. That way PvP will be skill based, and a complete wast of time.

So we can never have new class? They can tweak the revenant, nerf it if needed.
But what about Necro, Engi and Condi Mesmer? They wouldn’t suffer that much from a little tweaking and nerfing.

All I’m saying is the Revenant class was a mistake and still is a mistake. I have no idea how the people who were designing the skills and mechanics of the class thought it wouldn’t be over the top. It practically counters 3 classes. Not only that, the Meta is basically based around the Revenent class. And sure some of you say “Just nerf it” but we all know Anet would never dare do such a thing.
The biggest problem with revenant is you can have a halfway decent heal (Glint) OR movement impairing condition cleanse (Shiro) so you need to be paired with a support to get the most out of them.

Rev is a class that looks good on paper. A heal when you get hit? Sure. A move that breaks stun removes movement impairing condis and gives you a dodge? Why not? The problem is that Rev hits hard and can stay alive for quite some time. They have a lot of defensive skills. Sword 3, Shield 4 and 5, Staff 3-5, as well as Glint 6 and Riposting shadows. That is far too many for a class that hits like a bruiser.
Another flaw is that rev is a good class. So good that it completely knocks two other classes out of the meta (warrior and thief).
Those are just a few of the issues I can think off the top of my head, sure there are plenty more.

A heal with passive counterplay involving stow weapon instead of active play via interrupts? Sure
A move that breaks stun removes movement impairing condis and gives you a dodge? Why not indeed considering dagger thieves have on demand cripple, rangers have a big AoE cripple, and eles and necros have chill out the wazoo? More classes should have an ability like this but at least ele and thief can trait to cleanse chills on dodging.
Fixed those for you. A rev nerf should accompany engi and necro nerfs. Revenant has no reliable heal outside of Mallyx.
