How to get Gargoyle Scythe?
Currently no recipe. You just randomly get it from the match-win reward chest.
Oh I see.. I guess it’s time to sacrifice my wrist and open all the chest i’ve been stacking up due to how annoying and time consuming it is to salvage/destroy :[

Never destroy…The gear and weapon you dont have deposit into PvP locker and the ones you do have salvage and deposit the matts into the locker. You will need them

never destroy as stated above.. salvage for dust/mats then promote then to sliver with the forge

promote?! I got my back full of mats how do i do that? xD
Make dyes. And convert too..orbs into crystals and crystals into sliver. Blah blah blah.
I think they altered the drop rate for those skins btw. When they got implemented into reward chests I got the scepter, staff, and shield skins within a week or so. It’s been a month or more and I havent seen any new ones yet.
were can i find the recipes for that? I didn’t know about this at all o.O’
Arcane Converter
The Arcane Converter is used by the Mystic Forge to convert arcane components.
The conversion rates are:
1 Arcane Converter + 25
Arcane Powders + 25
Arcane Slivers + 1
Arcane Orb = 11
Arcane Orbs

What is the purpose of converting the mats?
Also, the drops you get from match reward chests – are they dependent on your glory rank? Or does everybody get the same chance at all gear?

Purpose of converting: Getting slivers through converting, which can be used to forge dyes (10 powder, 1 sliver, 1 consumable token, orb ). Dyes can be opened and used or selled after this.
Drops: independent, nothing to do with rank or something else. Everybody gets the same chance for everything.
Thanks dude – so the whole point of converting mats is to get dyes because you can make gold selling them?

Exactly. It’s the only recipe from which we can earn gold.
Well you can forge amor or weapons, but sooner or later you get them.

not just dyes, if your lacking mats for a certain recipe then you can convert them..
when trying for my orrian armor it took quite afew attempts to get.. without using the forge to get the slivers then i’d still be farming that set..
But I thought you couldn’t craft the armor you get from match win chests? I’m assuming here that the orrian set is one you get from those chests so I’m not sure why slivers would help you get it quicker… i’m sure i’m missing something stupid :P

Every armor or weapon you get from a chest (rank-chest or tournament-chest) can be reproduced/forged in the mystic forge. Here is a list of the weapons and armors you can forge and how you can forge them (recipes).

Notice: The “Free tournament” and “paid tournament” gears you can get out of the mtach-win-chest since the patch.
