[Team] Best WvW guild of all time. EASILY.
I think it would be nice if EVERY team didn’t NEED a guardian. Surely that is the definition of being overpowered? It is frustrating when you trying to find a pug and you cant find a guardian, or when you solo q and you got no guardian and they have one.
I dont want guardian to be nerfed. But I would like an alternative to be presented in the form of the warrior. I think if you buffed shouts and the tactics trait line they could could end up with a viable warrior bunker build:
1, Shake if off – grant this 4 seconds of stability to all those effected
2, Trait – reviver’s Might – change this to grants aegis to nearby allies when you use a shout (30 second internal cooldown)
3, Swap shrug it off with stronger bowstrings to make it an adept trait.
4, Lower the cooldown of fear me to 60 seconds
Anyone got any other ideas? They should make bunker warrior viable in comparison to guardian BUT must not make dps warriors brokenly op.
no this would not work
atleast not when buff so much defensives on warrior to can make them a bunker cause warrior has best offensive power ingame
ye i know not realy vialbe in tournaments but it would be even more overpowered than the necro when just give warrior so much bunker tools and not nerf the power

so to not be only negative^^ they can give them CDs like:
get 10 sec 50% lower dmg but do 10sec 50% lower dmg
edit: spells like this should be much more ingame on all classes – the biggest nukes should give some negative effects and the other way around

i really really really dislike this suggestion
1) Let’s give Warriors a free stomp every 20s
2) Could’ve sworn Aegis was the Guardian’s gimmick.
3) Stronger Bowstrings is meant to synergize with the +10% damage/-20% cd Bow trait.
4) Let’s make warriors decide every teamfight
I also had no idea that Stronger Bowstrings was so buggy that it caused 100% projectile finishers. Would be a nice way to stack burning.

Having an alternative to Guardian midpoint bunker would be nice, but that alternative should not be making another class too similar to it.
I also had no idea that Stronger Bowstrings was so buggy that it caused 100% projectile finishers. Would be a nice way to stack might.

Well this is actually the idea I had for warrior. As well as their burst skill they should have 2 “Stances” which are their class mechanic similar to guardian virutes. However they will be always on stances:
1, Take 10% less damage whilst dealing 10% less damage
2, Take 10% more damage whilst dealing 10% more damage.
So a warrior can pick and switch between the 2 as the match progresses. Then you could add traits to improve these stances. Like a grandmaster which says “Warrior takes 20% less damage and deals 20% less damage when he is in x stance”
But regardless, I am talking more in the short term to make bunker warrior viable. I think it would be good for the game.
