Hey, i have some friends who want to watch the WTS but i cant find a link. Does anyone have one. The twitch past broacasts isnt the whole tournament.

There was a ddos attack so it went offline halfway through. You an only really find the finals but im sure blu and grouch will upload when they are back.

Funny how they allowed it to get DDoS attacked and couldn’t find alternate communications.

So many ways to acquire a new ip address (source of internet) from the internet in this day and age, especially with the big push towards satellite communications.

Nothing but a bunch of IT’s in GW2, I’m sure they attended this. They must’ve all been programmers and left the network IT back home.

When you watch shows like college football and such, you don’t see them easily getting ddos. You’d think they LEARNED from the wts qualifiers how to go about ddos, but they haven’t. They need some military instructors as there manager. They need to be taking issues like that seriously because that’s the biggest GW2 live tournament, and to just let it get ddos and unable to resolve the issue…. Just sad.

In the military if you lose communications. You have your chief’s breathing on your back, you get ZERO sleep. You get that kitten up before you go to sleep. You call everyone in, even those that just got off work. Nobody sleeping till that kitten is up. Nobody knows how to fix it, you better get call the help desk and keep troubleshooting however long it takes till its up. High stressful environment. If you take too long you’ll get officers and high ranking officers breathing down your backs. Did you make the call? Whats the status? Whats the status? Every 5 mins… Whats the status? Losing comms in the military is like saying somebody nuked you. You lose communications that’s extremely bad.

You think if the super bowl got ddos, they’d allow it? Hell nah. This is the super bowl of gw2 and they couldn’t do nothing about the ddos even though this is a game, game’s major event, they have tons of IT’s employed. Figure that kitten out.

Edit, didn’t realize nobody answered your question, to watch some of it, OP go to this twitch channel. http://www.twitch.tv/jebrounity/b/595930973 All it shows is NA vs EU, don’t know of any other sources to watch it. There maybe other sources, but whoever is in charge of PR or marketing team, didn’t turn it into youtube, didn’t get the china matches shown. I mean serious, they couldn’t just local stream it even though they got ddos attacked? I mean common people use your brains, this is the super bowl of GW2, get a local copy and put it on youtube later or something. Use that video screen kitten, so many things COULD have been done, but didn’t get done.

Now if there is a youtube, than you see… Nobody knows about it, like I been telling yall. The issue isn’t the game, its communication to the players, letting them KNOW about stuff. The communication isn’t very good, you have to try HARDER, outside box thinking.
