Buuuuuuuuuuut it feels so so faaaaaar away

90,000 rank points are far harder to get than 90,000 glory because it has no booster~~
you know this crazy widening gap that it takes 45,000 to get from 39 to 40, not 15,000 like 38 to 39~~

~and now I think I have reached a point that, seeing this huge 90,000 rank point gap and feeling~~exhausted.

Please give me a reason to carry on and not asking ANet to raise my account Rank to 40 .________.

Why are you grinding just for ranks? Is the carrot that delicious?

Just play it for fun and magically you’ll be 40.

Play team arenas solo (I know, lol) – it gives huge rank bonus per win.

Stay at 37 and leave while you can

Teamq +1k rank points per win.

Honestly, rank grind after r40 becoming quite ridiculous, especially if you’re not playing teamQ constantly. I beginning to understand all those Skyhammer farmers.

playing team q is too “elite” you get so much grief if you’re using a fun none meta spec.
playing hotjoins is fun but you don’t get enough rank points.
all is vain.

i just hit rank 40 afew weeks back from hot joins alone, and i’ve played on and off quite alot since launch, i’ll never ever see rank 50

Actually if they retrospectively rewarded turney players there would be a lot more people ~45 already that now sit in their 30s.

I don’t think so, Anet refused to do such thing minimum twice for WvW rewards (introducing of wxp and wxp rate boosts).

Sounds like me right now. I’m level 56, and I’m just playing to get my shark finisher. I like pvp, but I’m just sick of the meta atm. I’d rather be playing wvw, where there’s more build diversity and it’s more then just standing on points.

Oh well almost there. Yeah Hotjoin is terrible for rank points now, and I don’t bother with TeamQ. So I just stick with SoloQ, and I’m moving fairly fast.

Eh… When my computer’s back up I plan on getting 5-10 TeamQ wins per day. It’ll be a bit of a grind, but honestly the queue times let me collect myself in between matches.

Rank 49 = 75000k
Rank 59 = 150000k
Rank 69 = 450000k
Rank 79 = 750000k equals to about 750 won tourney matches for 1 rank up…. Have fun.

#150k x 4 + 450k 69-70 if you feel exhausted looking at your next rank up i should be dead already by now… -_-

In all seriousness, though~I wouldn’t mind getting from 59-60 or 69-70~that sort of thing. You see, the armors of those ranks (even the Cultural Armors) are now available even to Rank 10s. As long as I have enough glory, I can just buy them from the Kodan vendor. If I want to forge something Phoenix/Dragon, I just go ahead, salvage whatever I purchased and get the token I need.

Rank 40, though~~it’s a big one. There are so many series of skins that I simply cannot get unless I am R40 or R50.
