I am getting sick of seeing THIS
3 of a profession that’s relatively popular isn’t uncommon. I’ve seen games with 3 necromancers when it’s not necro day and necros suck.
grenade cleave is excellent and the 1,500 range can be put to use on that map
that’s all there is to it
previously rank 2 on old leaderboards

Ah, there’s your problem! 20k health on medi guard.
All hail our engineer overlords, the pinacle of skill, finese and genius level brain power.
Kinda sad, but at least you get an easy win, engies nice and squishy
it’s still the most simple class the counter
currently a Boyfriend main :P

Engineer isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
The only thin that needs a nerf is turret activation radius
And by this I mean: when an Engi strays too far, his turrets should vanish
As Above average as I am. Even I can’t win this when solo-queing.

Engies are dev’s favorite. There won’t be any nerfs.
This is a matchmaking problem, not a balance issue.
If you see a lot of eng, roll a necro. Necro rotflstomps eng.
Celest needs a nerf, but that’s not eng specific. Overcharged shot could use a tell, but that’s a minor issue.

Funny that people have said that about every class (other than maybe ranger) in the past. War will never get a nerf, hambow dev fav! Necro will never get a nerf dhuumfire dev fav! Ele will never get a nerf, nado self res dev fav! Thief will never get a nerf heartseeker spam dev fav! So many “favorites” that have been nerfed. Weird.

How you have 20.585 HP on a meditaion guardian?
20.585 HP from
Rune of the Traveler, Barbarian Amulet and I’m guessing either a 1-6-6-0-1 or 0-6-6-0-2
build.

Engi’s are definitely shooting above their weight. If I get two half decent engis in a pug game we are almost guaranteed a win (unless there are better engis on the other team).
Its not just turrets either. Overall too much damage mitigation, damage, and utility on several builds.

Oh, got it.

build. No, to have this HP he needs also 6 in Honor. That means 0/1/6/6/1 build. This build makes no sense to me tbh.
Umm… no, not if this build editor is up to date at least. Barbarian amulet with +932 vitality boosts you there at expense of power (~200 pts)
Here’s the 0-6-6-0-2 build – though not sure what I’d want from Virtues traits, but preferably that to putting 1 pt in Zeal.

Yeah got it, thanks.
Though I’m interested in knowing how much of an impact the chance of Berserker amulet for Barbarian does… while it puts you in a better spot to survive due to much higher HP, the fact that you drop 200+ power in your dps build means your burst is more like a ‘fart’ and essentially the build is broken if you don’t even have the strength of your huge burst.
Is this like a learn-to-play medi guard build?

You must be new or have a selective memory, for the first 12-14 months engy was the most nerfed class in the game.
The problem with engi in this pvp format is their area of control. They can hold a point with turrets and not even be there. Since the skill cap is so low on this build, it makes it popular and easy. Engi day is pve day, since you’ll be fighting so many turrets. I don’t even play pvp on engi day.
You have to go to the source of the problem: Dailies.
- They are the same for everyone.
- They require wins.
- Change profession dailies to be random and different between players.
- Preferably, make one of the dailies random between the most played professions, and the other random between the less played professions.
- Change daily wins to require 3 points: A win gives 3 points, a loss gives 1.
That won’t completely solve the problem with engineer issues, but it’ll drastically reduce the number of people that go with the same profession, and that use cheese builds that get easy mindless, unskilled cowardly wins, as more people may focus on trying the stuff they want rather than go with what works if they can get something even from a loss.

And sample size = 1 ftw, so meaningful.
class stacking working very well…..
