Casually whining about people throwing matches by AFK-ing and trashtalking – still no legit option to deal with them

At this point being that high on the leaderboards is more of an indictment than a praise. Anyone who plays PvP that much probably has issues, especially since many of them played turret engineer more than just for trolling.

When you make the ladder system a straight up grind that is what you get.

As the current #1 guy on the leader board I agree with all of the above. Leader board is absolute trash and is in no way an example of skill.

It was my first actual match in days actually – one of the two played, where the second I got trashed by my internet connection (sorry team), though still a fairly close match

Regardless, I am just astonished and it is because two reasons;

AFK-ing is still not punishable… It is not understandable to me that a guy who rushes off to far twice and loses his life there decides to screw over a match while the team was winning – simply because we did not accomodate to his wishes (which makes me wonder why he even pugs)

People still cannot fathom that the leaderboard is completely insignificant, utter trash and a laughing stock in a competitive enviroment – certainly not something to be proud of, and what is worse, he lied about it which is a new low (bragging about something that should not be bragged about)
Granted, he said that he will participate in the ESL-Weekly cup tonight… So I am going to watch our glorious “Rank 20” bless us with his infinite wisdom of his profession… Who knows, maybe he AFK’s to keep some secrets to himself

The problem the devs ignore from the previous leaderboard was a lack of a decay feature, but still showed top players in top 20 teamq and soloq ignoring the outliers.
