Warriors aren’t OP in my opinion, that title goes to engies. Warriors just have the weird ability to have pretty high stats on everything.
On my guardian, I have to choose. Do I want high power and crit or do I want toughness and HP? Do I want healing power or do I want vitality. Do I want high tougness with good power or do I want crit dmg?
Warriors can have… everything. I’ve played a warrior in PvP now and he’s got high power, high crit, high HP, high toughness, high crit dmg, excellent survivability, auto-healing, burst recharge, 300 healing power and so on. He has no weaknesses.
What’s up with that? It’s not like saying “Yea, but warriors have fewer defensive skills than guardians” is true. Because they have lots of awesome defence skills.
Like Aedrion said, it’s not that they’re OP. It’s just that they’re basically good at everything. Their old, hard weakness (conditions) had a complete 180 done so that they don’t care about them anymore either.
I wouldn’t even mind if Warriors are the All-rounder class, that can do everything fairly well. But currently they seem exceptional in everything.
Look at Rangers for example, according to their official description they are supposed to be “Unparalleled archers, rangers are capable of bringing down foes from a distance with their bows.” – Now when asked who can put more pressure on a point with their bows, rangers are not the first to come to my mind…
nerfs? NERFS?
an 8% reduction in healing signet is hardly a nerf and meanwhile you’re getting 2 swap sigil procs every 5 seconds.
hambow will be even more low risk/high reward…
so after 6 months of people asking for hambow nerfs, congrats, its getting buffed.
Why the sigils are such a big deal? Im using fire only on main weapon and the other one I dont even care what it is. I think people are overeacting about the sigil changes.
Warrior is getting these traits:
Strength: Burst Precision – Burst skills have an increased chance to critically hit ( Chance: 100%)
Arms: Dual Wield Agility- Your attack speed is increased by 10% when wielding a sword, axe or mace in your offhand.
Defense: Rousing Resilience – Gain toughness when you break out of a stun. The amount of toughness gained is up to 1000, based on your level and lasts for 4 seconds.
Tactics: Phalanx Strength – When you grant yourself might, grant it to nearby allies as well. 6s of might is granted each time this trait triggers. (It works with blast finishers)
Discipline: Brawler’s Recovery – Remove blindness when you swap weapons.
Warrior is getting these balance nerfs:
8% reduction of HS (In comparison to signet buff in 2013 its laughable "nerf)
Increased LB #5 from 1/4 sec cast to 3/4
So how is this considered a relevant nerf?
Because all of those talents are useless for pvp builds as 30-pointers?
