i expect burn guardian …. It will be a bit like meditraper stomping lower levels. Could be devastating against all classes that can´t cleanse condies constantly.
Lets just hope this isnt the old “it says 10k (x5) so that means it does 50k damage” kind of build.

I think it is burn guard.
Mesmer and thief will never use traveler runes. And smoldering is for heavy burn builds.
There are only two known builds condition engi or burn guard
5 sec passive sounds more like guard than engi. And burn guard has much stronger 1v1 potential compared to engi. 12 sec burst is probably torch skill.

He is probably talking about condi scrapper with sneak gyro and protection injection or something. I think the burst is referring to the blowtorch. Well if that’s the case good luck to you and have fun with it.

Yeah the give away is smouldering, invis and traveler runes.
Invis limits it to mesmer, thief, scrapper, traps with DH and ranger.
Traveler runes discount DH and ranger as they rely on trapper runes for invis.
Smouldering removes thief and mesmer as their burn damage sucks.
I’ve found some people playing it in WvW with dire/rabid or just intelligence sigils to proc IP, they even use incendiary ammo to load you with 4-5k burn ticks and spam other condi to kill you.
What 5 second passive does guardian have?
guess he means burn from passive virtue of justice.
I think scrapper and ele are mostly imune to this build…. Some other builds without constant clears might go up in flames :-)
OK invis is strange when traveler is used ….. so this might be scrapper then …
condi scrapper is strong but i meet them only ocasionally in PvP …

A guard cant have invis and traveler runes at the same time so not a guard.

I’m not gonna go into more detail, but holy crap this build is insanely overpowered. I’m glad it has no chance of getting nerfed before season 5, because it’s going to give me legendary with next to zero effort. I just won four pubs in a row with over 600k dmg average match and no deaths at all.

Can’t have spammable invis if you’re running traveler runes.

The build that fits the description the most is burn guard (DH). The only thing it lacks is spammable stealth if it’s running traveler runes. Yes, burn guard (DH) is dumb.
condi engi is strong if you are fighting sub-diamond players i suppose
