Q: Will there be an opportunity to join one specific map (or specific mode) with matchmaking?

Me and my friends don’t like conquest maps – we like deathmatchs!
The only thing we want to do – is to slash other people faces into pieces!
I think there are many among non-prof pvp guys, who think the same.

And custom arenas aren’t choice in that kind of situation – because it’s more simplier to push 1 button, instead of making filer… finding arenaaa…

it’s so uncomfortable searching deathmatch game, concluding i don’t wanna leave conquest games just because there isn’t normal opportunity to play my favorite mode (

Join a hotjoin match. Don’t play the game. Just go around and slash people.

As i’ve mentioned at topic head – custom arenas don’t solve that problem – noone playing there, only rank farming…
There should be opportunity to find maps with specific mode via matchmaking

you would have 10 hour ques. there are only like 25 people playing pvp left per mode (rest is skyham farming) so you don’t really want to split them up further.

just do checkbox matchmaking – either “all in”, either “any” – i don’t mind waiting 10 mins more, but play what i really want to play, then play “ahh, whatever!” and don’t get enough fun

I support this thread.

Including another TDM map along with courtyard in a separate queue from conquest I think will ATTRACT more people to PVP.

TDM is like adding another dimension to the competitive game mode. Builds and gameplay will differ from conquest.

i’m pretty curious about it
when you have more, then 1 map, or more, then 1 mode and have matchmaking – you would do some choice for “unranked” games, and make standart choice for “ranked” games, it’s pretty common practice

Guys, if Anet don’t have dat thing in plans and we want it – we should have that thread in top until Anet officials won’t give us an anwser, but if noone cares…

Nothing beats an unfair matchup in courtyard, where one team get to crunch skulls, one by one from enemy spawn as they jump down into certain doom. It makes combat feel even more fast phased with those 2v5s 1v5s as they respawn.

I think what OP is asking for is a separate queue for TDM.

Whit expansion just around the corner, I’m guessing most of anet staff are busy preparing for the deadline

thay jus don’t care friend. anet rather lose players an double down on these conquest and kill the lord modes than on regular pvp arena tdm.

rather than includin easy gamemode lik gw1 RA, thay move on wit wat we see.

i jus tink thay forgot that pvp can be fun w/o all theese extra mechanics.

Honestly, I’d say that WvW is the best fit for something like this…

and what about fair fight? sessions?
If i want to “start battle”, play a fair fight and go on with my business? ))
