I'm abandoning ForestNifhel games from now on
That feel when you throw a tantrum and boycott Forest when you don’t like the Lord mechanic in Legacy. Haha

Tell me more about the Foefire Lords in Forest. Kek
maybe he’s talking about the total amount of forest beast points ?
It’s a tough map but you should really learn to cope with unpleasant maps. Besides it’s not too bad, sure far is risky due to how close it is to respawn but it just slightly favors some classes over others.
I think you meant Legacy however, it’s an honest mistake. Legacy is simply the best map in the game. Some of my favorite moments are on that map, such as Impact Striking Lord just as he went down (first two phases were hit when he was standing and timed Finishing Blow to come after the downed temporary invulnerability) or harassing gate to keep certain opponents near it leading to outnumbered situations in our favor on nodes.
The mid point also neutralizes some AoE classes’ advantages. As a node holding game the smaller the node the further such wells, overloads, or traps would go, so you can contest the node being relatively safe. It also emphasizes the weakness of low mobility more than other maps being a bigger map.
INB4 OP gets banned for this.
This is beyond petty
a new dark lord in sapphire tier 3 rises (at least that’s where I assume you’re in)
a new dark lord in sapphire tier 3 rises (at least that’s where I assume you’re in)
He cannot be the new dark lord of Sapphire tier 3, for I am the true dark lord of Sapphire tier 3.
In all seriousness though. This incredibly petty if you can’t even attempt to work the map to your advantage, whether it’s Foefire, Forest, Temple or any other.
And what exactly will you be screenshotting as proof? Proof of what? Why? I honestly don’t get that statement.
The only map I hate is Khylo….like I’d rather have the reworked sky hammer tbh. Not only is the treb just obnoxious, mostly because some people just can’t resist playing it while their team dies on point. But my camera clips like no ones business and its a nightmare. I try to avoid mid because its such a pain constantly having to zoom in and out :I
This is the worst map IMO.

Honestly, the way everyone seems to fight off point, they should just make all maps courtyard.

He said it randomly assigns 150 points, could mean forest with 6 creature kills. It is sometimes a problem because either team can kill the creatureyou could have it on it’s last bit of health then a lucky git on the other team runs up and hits it with a ranged attack, gets the killing blow and the 25 points. Unless that has been changed, been a while since I did forest. Might be fairer if it was designed to give the points to the team that did the most damage provided at least one is still alive and in combat with it.
Sorry mate – I think you’ve got your maps confused. I think you mean Legacy – where you get 150 points for killing the lord. Which isn’t random at all. It’s a legitimate tactic which can either win you the game, or lose it for you depending on when and how you choose to do it.
Honestly – you just lost a couple of times on Legacy because you don’t properly understand the secondary mechanics. Go away, learn the name of the map, learn the mechanics, watch a couple of videos, and, without being rude… get better at PvP. And be honest with yourself – you aren’t as good as you think you are! This is something most PvP-ers need to accept at some point…
Random assigned points. Still trying to understand what OP is referring to. Maybe because of the points being assigned to the death blow of the beast? Killing stealing maybe?
De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum.
Both teams start with the same opportunities to win, so to say it’s the map’s fault you keep losing is rather childish if you ask me. This sounds like another tantrum post, among the many you have made.

Blank is obviously Courtyard, please, it’s the best map ever.
Look, If I can deal with the obnoxious timer based cluster kitten that is Temple of the Silent Storm, you can deal with a couple NPCs.
Best map is obviously Foefire.

Ew, no. The large capture point in the middle ruins it. They should remodel it so that its a small capture point but with more obstructions around it for cover.

No way the big node and big map size overall is what makes it the best map. Someone laying traps or AoE otherwise isn’t going to get free decap progress. One change I’ll agree with for Legacy is replacing Lord with the new Skyhammer mechanic of decaps if you charge a fourth node and make Khylo’s mid bigger, taller, and have the decap node while turning it into a four cap map (caps replace trebs).

The point of having different maps is that they have different secondary mechanics/objectives. Making 3 of the maps share the same secondary mechanic defeats that purpose, and only further alienates those players that don’t particularly enjoy that decap mechanic. But I agree that the big node size is really important on foefire. I honestly wish that all nodes in PvP were increased in size so that they couldn’t be covered completely with 1 trap or mark. You should be able to freely contest/defend a node without being forced into a trap because its the same size as the node

What I mean is, the node should still have the essence of been easier to defend. But not so easy as to just run around kiting. If I wanted to bunker down on foefire all I have to do is watch my skill bar and blow cooldowns while holding W and D. (exaggeration). The defensible properties of it should be like temple mid, having different heights and or obstructions.
