I have one question and it’s a simple one. Regardless of whether or not it plans to address the issue, will Arenanet acknowledge the huge volume of negative feedback about having Skyhammer in the solo queue, and the reasons for it?

These are a good place to start, they we can work on rewarding small scale fight instead of massive kitten y zergs. WB allie you have 1 shot to make it right.
Any plans on adding a diminishing return feature to certain skills such as stacking immobilizes and possibly the (what seems like) endless stealth spam?
This isn’t intended to be rude, but why are we waiting 3 months in between balance/feature patches? That’s a very long time for even a long list of great changes… and the current patch preview isn’t very long or great looking (from a balance standpoint)

Ele need more support/surv builds, atm burst is strong but need other options.
Rangers aren’t that bad.

- Why is Skyhammer still in this game?
- We need small fixes more often, every 2 week or so. The heal signet nerf needed (and still needs) to be put live MUCH sooner. Ridiculously overpowred abilities need to be fixed in smaller patches, not waited on for 3 months like it is now. Warriors got nerfed last patch but it wasn’t enough. Now is the time to act.

All I can really say is that DPS Guardians feel a bit lacking in terms of mobility and landing damage:
-Revise Sword #3, make the projectiles increase in speed (and perhaps accuracy) after 200-300 range – because it hits nothing past that.
-Add a way to cripple foes, maybe bake it into GS somewhere? I feel forced to use Sigil of Hydromancy on it.
-Because of the lack of gap closers/cripples/chills, it is also hard to land attacks such as Shield of Wrath, given its tiny explosive radius.
Except for these really minor problems I think DPS Guard is in ok shape

So he won’t be active on the forums OR behind the scenes? Suspicious…
Also, you’re not sure the majority want it out of the rotation? Why don’t you just let people decide if they want to queue for that map or not. It doesn’t have to be either or, it can be both. Let those who want it in queue for it and those who do not, don’t make them.

skyhammer is just too different to the other maps in the rotation that you need an entirely different build to play effectively, this makes it impractical to be in the normal rotations,
i don’t think anyone needs skyhammer to be completely removed from the game,
but one idea would be to have it as a standalone map outside of the hotjoin and solo queue, (so people who wish to play skyhammer can queue for skyhammer-only matches)

Some builds are grossly overpowered in it and most of the fighting there doesn’t resolve around beating your opponent, but punting him out of the map. It’s a ridiculous design for any serious PvP game. Stop trying to make up claims that it has its reason to stay there. Admit you kittened up and take it OUT.

Is Grouch going to help test/design a new game mode, work on balance, host an upcoming tournament, or run for political office?

A dev can see my skyhammer win/loss rate which I think is around 85% in solo queue, and I STILL THINK the map should be removed. Moving onto the metrics? What are you talking about? Unless you bring back the beta feature in that you can rate the experience 1-5 I don’t see how you can get any “metrics” out of skyhammer, it is agreed upon the community and top tier players that the map brings cheese and isn’t competitive at all.
Personally I have so many questions about balance that I dont even know what to ask. Eles, warriors, condition, decappers, skyhammer, just… Just is balancing team ever aware that GW2’s pvp in desperate need of major surgery? Will something be done about all that the same questions that are asked in dozens of threads every week?
