Could this game be reborn? For me yes, i pray pvp is going to be fun again XD

I am not, scrapper got barely touched, ranger pet not fixed. Game will be still passives vs pet.

I will be happy if I can play my thief again without everyone getting all torches and pitchforks on me.

I’ve not heard anything from the devs that addresses the core issues and mechanics of PvP. All I’ve read and heard is that they are shaking the meta up by rotating which classes will be OP for the next season and which no one will want to play.

those changes, even the mesmer ones are far too few for all the extreme advantages those classes have

I disagree. That is not all they can do. Balance should mean classes have an even chance against each other at the same skill level. Not what we have now: hard counters, soft counters, conditions outstripping power builds, some classes having lots of condi cleanse/stability while other have only a few, passive damage vs skilled damage, fix the kitten ed camera view, etc. etc. There is a lot more they can do, but they don’t have big enough stones to try.

Well, as a Ranger/Druid, I am excited for next season. I am a little sad to be loosing all the main amulets I use, especially celestial and settler. I am also hoping condi ranger and some form of burst ranger will become viable.

I think these changes will bring thief back into the mix, and that is great. They were always fun to duel, and it was a little sad to not have them around this season.

Rev will dominate if its defense is not also toned down, so I am hoping for this as well.

Yes, well, if they don’t tone down DH traps the game will digress into an insta kill meta, so everyone will be using ranged and PBAoE insta-death attacks. There will be no point in trying to hold a point. Just kill your opponents before they kill you. DH would be able to decap a whole team in a few seconds flat.

LB ranger is largely shut down by Ele, and rev sustain. Without celestial, it will be back again… that spells doom for glassy DH.

It will be a worse season than the previous one.

26th should be fun. No more leagues for a bit, that means the players that only played for ap and the back piece probably won’t be playing. There should also be less premades, since it’s unranked and people won’t be farming as much. And of course the balance patch.

Will s2 be better than s1? Probably. Will the game still be horribly broken? Likely. Waiting for a competent balance team.

Nope… i’ve learned my lesson. To many times i got exited for the next hype patches. Always a disappointment!!!!!!

This will take a while.

This patch changes nothing at all. All major issues with classes are not addressed by “balancing” my kitten team. Power creep still alive and does well.

Will still a CC spamfest with 90% of your time not in control of your character.

Nothing will change. The game is power creeped beyond the point of no return

1. Mesmer will be killable 1vs1 very fast with condi reaper and good DH, and even Thief.
2. Druid will rule the next season.
3. Ele will be still be good, but can’t tank any more 2vs1, only 1vs1, and the better player will win
4. Thief will decide the tight games
5. Scrapper will be in a very good place, still nothing changed there, only the amulet, I already know what I will use there

After all the kittens up and youre still excited? Youre like that friend of mine with his cheating girlfriend. She cheated on him about 10 times so far and he keeps taking her back.
