I'm gone until you add Solo Queue
Took you so long.
I’ve stopped playing Leagues myself during first week (not even logging in currently) since constant playing vs premades isn’t fun, even if I can win more than I lose, it’s simply not fun.
Last time they had “solo Queue” it really wasn’t.
Team queue got such a huge wait time that they started coming to SoloQ and synchronizing their “join” using Teamspeak so they had a good chance of landing on the same side in a match.

Stop spreading lies. That never worked. Even if you got into the same game you wouldn’t be on the same team because your friends would all be highly ranked.
In gw1, solo queue, aka random arena, was ruined by sync droppers, I assumed thats why they didn’t put it in gw2… I’m sure sync droppers still ruin games, but its not as bad, the matchmaker is pretty good… working with what its got.
A new guild called Players Killing Sync Droppers [PKSD] is recruting, shoot me an emal if interested.

I know Anet and GW1/2 fans are anti-World of Warcraft,
But this was one thing at least they did right. build Instanced PvP around the allowance of players to replace players that dropped match. This way other players can fill in. The matches wasnt just 5v5 arena king of the hill battles.
Thats what made instanced PvP there good before they went Esport in their first expansion.

of course it works, the term was coined in mmos but it works in other games too, I left a clan in mechwarrioronline for doing that.
People get on teamspeak and do a countdown so they all click the button at the same time. what random arena in gw1 eventually turned into, was failed match starts cause of constant quitters who didn’t like that they didn’t sync with who they were trying or because their team had no healer, so they would just instantly quit. I would go 10 qeues in a row sometimes before a match was actually played. And if someone didn’t quit, the match was so lopsided it was as much of a joke as practice join is in gw2.

I can actually say that this is false. Back about 2 years ago when gw2 still did solo que me and a few friends would do this and only occasionally we would get a couple in the same match together but usually not on same teams so yea this never worked that way. But idk why all are demanding solo que so hard. It was deleted in the first place because players who do premades wanted to be able to get more practice in for tourneys and would kitten to anet about the long que times. So this was their solution. Which most players don’t like due to being casuals but Ehh. Anet has their select people they listen to and there’s not much else anyone can do about it. Just like this comment will be lost in forums.

E-Sport for GW2 is fail, it only works well for Fighting, FPS and MOBA with solid gameplay and huge attention every month, and this game severely lacks the 2nd point…
You won’t get soloQ back, ANet would be admitting they made a mistake. No they’ll just continue on as is and at end of League post a ‘success’ blog.
Internally after that I hope they just give up on this e-sport dream. Focus on good content for PvP, balance etc. and use the 1/2 million saved to resuscitate WvW.

Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
