To me, the 15th is actually going to be quite grand. I’m only ran 49 in PvP so i’m gaining my favorite stomp in the game (Shark), I have something to look forward to when i sign in that day and every dragon rank will be spamming it, and we get a REWARD system… but I suppose this is the entire argument of People who have worked incredibly hard vs casual PvPers right?

Worked out for me as well, while waiting for the patch I got platinum in final fantasy x hd, so close to the 15th can’t wait.

Looking forward to it. Everything seems nice and it’ll be like a new start. But yes, it’ll be a bit sore with the rank debacle.

the patch does look pretty good and overall i’m happy with it,

i’m just hoping that the tiny list of balance changes that they’ve given us is just a preview.
for the past 4 months we’ve been told to wait for the magical feature patch to balance the game, and so far the balance changes in the patch seem very underwhelming.

Overall I’m excited. Runes/Sigils combos I can play around with, balance changes, and pve gear in pvp (vice versa). Lastly pvp rewards giving incentive to play pvp again. Also a new map, even though it’s only custom arenas.

As for the rank debacle, overall it’s a change for the better. They want to make dragon achievable. Yes it sucks for the few +70r people out there. However that’s life, sometimes you draw the short end of the straw. I’d at least give them a unique title or something.

I played pvp from release and i support the reduction of ranks. Tho could argue that they could set 60 rank for max instead of 55. But they should start giving rewards based on leaderboard rank (ofc after they fix it first), like giving phoenix to ppl that come to top 100 and dragon for top 10 + some epic gear. Progresion like we have/had now is just bad. Tho bonus for ppl that are 50+ rank now … is that they will have almost all skins already. Also the way to reward/compensate dedicated pvp players, was already missed. When they introduced gold for rewards, they should give it also for the past tournament games.

All the skins is nothing. Rank 80 is nothing. People want something that says ’I’ve played this much more than you’ that’s all.

The truth is casuals care more about progression. Can you imagine a hardcore player saying “I managed to beat final fantasy and still have a rank 80”.

No. Because it’s all about performance IG, rewards and titles should reflect this, and if they don’t you’re just playing a kids dress-up game.

I am really stoked about the changes.

people need to look past rank equals skills way of thinking coz its not. in any game such as call of duty ( example) ranks are achieved by playing and spending lots of hours.
