It’s true. Warrior makes a great team pet. Drop a bit of cc with a ton of damage while everybody else holds the points.

Funny how a few months back, people thought the exact opposite about warriors xD.

actually looks like hes playing bunker with probably a sigil of 100% crit on weapon swap. So probably very littly damage with potentially a big burst hit and then most of the time just sits and prays.

Toss around CC and drop a 7-8k eviscerate every few seconds to finish targets doesn’t sound too bad.

Pretty much how every class in this game goes
“oh its utter garbage no one will play it REFUND REFUND REFUND”

Then someone thinks outside the box and finds a way to make it work.

What runes are you using ? I see you’re using a vitality rune but I can’t seem to find any that’d be good on dps warrior.

I’m sorry for the map chat abuse at the end. Unfortunately every opponent already left the game when i typed it, they really deserved it cuz was a really tense match with opponent team bunkering everything with necro/druid/and 2 chrono.
Was because i accumulated so much frustrating playing warrior during my ruby league, with all the teammates blaming my warrior every begin of the match, blaming me every time we lose, and not even saying me gg when we win but only thinking “i’m so pro i won with a warrior in team, i must have carry him”.

For people wondering the rune, i wont post my build till i’m legend division. But if you ask me if this build is reliable like those easy meta builds, i can only tell you that to win with this, you have to outplay, time your burst and watch very carefull every movement you do and be quick on chose the right target.

Btw as a suggestion, i went a vitality rune cuz of the condi spam that we have and, considering warrior condi cleanse mechanics are not reliable or not updated to the june condi patch, i tought to compensate it with an high vitality.
Wich is working a little to give me the time to run out of the fight for a few seconds if the situation become not manageable.
Still able to one shot most of the opponents below the 50% hp tough. My best targets are revenant, scrapper and off course thief. Necro are the highest priority, i have 10 seconds to burst them till my berserker stance run out. Also druid are good targets for this build.

Everyone is playing META, yet you don’t see me bad mouthing others for doing it when I’m on warrior. If you didn’t run your mouth on others for just playing the game you wouldn’t get as much flak.

PS. About the condi cleanse, I found a surprisingly good combo that no one else have thought of yet, not going to let my little secret out as it lets me run w/e build/traits I want.

It’s not even warrior itself that’s bad, it’s just the fact that everyone has kittening perma stab and perma protection + a ridiculous amount of heals you can’t kill kitten.

Litterally 2mins ago I was fighting a rev, waiting for his stab to go off so I can heabutt him, waited like 30s to finally land that kitten but I dealt no damage because he had kittening protection and sustained all the damage I did in 2s.

At least we destroy dragon hunters in 1v1, I guess that’s something.

Props for staying with the class you like, i do that aswell. But i get a bit tired of people complaining about how little skill my druid requires.
I always played ranger, and i wont stop playing ranger simply because its better and easier to play now, just like you wont stop playing warrior when they will be buffed.
Also playing a build that requires lesser skill to perform well doesnt mean you cant be skillfull with it. Easy meta builds are easy to predict and to play in a manner that still suprises and outplay others of equal skill requires creativity and improv skills.

So grats for staying with warrior, but feel sorry for the fact you think that playing warrior equals having skill.

I’d say
defense 1-1-3
discipline 2-2-2 or 2-3-2
berserker 3-1-3 or 1-1-3

I’m pretty sure he runs rousing resilience since he’s top player healing to self with a tempest in his team. Also this trait is kittening glorious with berserker.

As for axe, you describe exactly why I prefer sword than axe. axe #2 and #3 are garbage, weapon has no mobility or utility what so ever, only good thing about it is the auto attack and the way too telegraphed burst skill.
Sword offers less visible finisher, insane mobility coupled with GS, decent auto attack and nice F1 to setup 100b, only bad thing about it is the primal burst.

Necro is one of the few classes that warrior can beat, alongside DH. Daredevil is feasible but i’d give the advantage to DD, and the other class unless the guy is really bad are mostly impossible to beat.
I play war as a thief now, I just travel the map fast and +1 kitten, I don’t have stealth but I have better cleave.

I’ve played warrior on my main account which has pretty high MMR and it’s extremely difficult to play warrior, even to the point where they do nothing. However, on my smurf account I’ve been able to 1v3 people people on ye ol’ Marauder Rampager Gs/Axe Shield build fairly easily. The conclusion is: your MMR is probably not that great even though you Q against ruby and saphire ranks don’t mean anything in Spvp, it just means a that a player can grind. So stop acting like you are a God tier warrior because you are not. Try playing this in higher tier sPvP and you’ll soon find out that warrior is trash, no matter how good the player is…

And no i never said i m GOD tier warrior, but just that if you believe you can win.
You dont want to believe? keep playing your meta, i dont really care, but just to let you know, i’ve played some games with revenant and immediately stopped since i found it as a no skill class, meaning that any skills i was using was too much automatic, was like the class was playing by itself.
But meh if you dont believe in practice, we can always have a duel my warrior vs your warrior, and find out if skill really doesnt exist^^.
i just wanted to show that getting to diamond is possible with also a non meta build, wich you are free to think whatever you want, but for me it requires more skill than playing meta.

My team were QQing all the the time about my warrior despite they played like nubs and die in like 2 seconds while me the full glass was the last to fall.

Last night i had a teammate DH who wanted to force me to switch class, cuz it wasnt meta. At the end of the match after i stomped left and right, top scoring and making appearing 5-6 times “Von Shaletta is on Rampage” on the screen, he wishpered me “you are not meta, but you’ve done a pretty good job”. That’s enough to achieve for me, winning becomes secondary.

Let’s break this boring meta togheter, i believe!! Do you?

A good warrior is the best opponent one could fight in PvP. Balanced sustain, strong burst potential, and is actually punished by game mechanics when doing mistakes. I think it wouldn’t be boring to spectate a mach, where everybody plays warriors, but with different builds (unique weapon sets per team).
